I'm not sure why it's called the "Grand Hotel" - it's actually just an average, dated motel. We stayed here based on the beautiful photos on their website, and it's disappointing to see in person. All rooms are exterior-facing. It's noisy - you can hear traffic outside, conversations in the room next door, and the fluorescent lights buzzing. The whole...

Booked this hotel/Conference Center thru Expedia - what a mistake. Expedia added extra person charge and when talking with hotel direct they don't charge this fee. Old, outdated property that's been rebranded. Exterior access rooms that are small and really dated. The beds were horrible, the room smelled like mildew. It was clean, that's the best I can state. The...

We were very impressed by the property! The staff greeted us and recommended a place to eat dinner! And Mike, the Hotel Manager, was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable! The rooms were clean and comfortable! The beautiful tree lined courtyard was so quiet where we were able to sit by the pool to drink a glass of wine...

We bid on a room on Priceline and Magnuson Grand was the hotel we received. After reading reviews we tried to cancel, but when we arrived I would say overall it was better than expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. The biggest turnoff was the carpet must have been really dirty. You couldn't see anything but after within 30 min...

We stayed for our second time at this grand hotel . It was excellent courteous service and very Friendly . Got to have a beer with the owner and very enjoyable conversation. The King size bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Once again we had fun at this hotel with good restaurants near by and...

The staff and management make you feel like family. We travel to the area twice a month for business and have stayed at more than a dozen hotels in the area. By far the best quality and price on a hotel and in east Texas and they even have a bar on property that won't charge you $6.00 for a...

This is a old converted Ramada Inn, so it is set up like a motel, but the grounds are beautiful capped by a wonderful pool area... Quiet, yet right in the middle of shopping and restaurants, clubs, close to college and the Tyler mall... just a quick minute drive to all hospitals and the offer a hospital rate for those...

We stayed here for a marriage retreat. The place was nice for the price. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was decent but not great. Great outdoor pool. Wonderful shower with cool shower head. Would stay here again.
