We stayed in the lower RV campground of Terlingua Ranch Lodge for the week of Thanksgiving 2016 while we were visiting Big Bend. We enjoyed our stay here. First, the pros: •Everyone we encountered were very friendly. •We had 30 amp power and water at our site. •The views were beautiful. •The bathrooms were near by and they had hot... More

We rented a Duplex here for our weekend stay. This is not a 5 star resort. This is an older place but was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Our duplex had two bedrooms a kitchen, living room and a single bathroom. You can check out cooking utensils from the front desk if you want to cook your own meals. I... More

OK let's get this out-of-the-way. If you require room service, Egyptian cotton sheets, and cappuccinos with designs made in to the steamed milk this is a place not for you. However if you're searching for an offbeat place situated in one of America's most beautiful natural surroundings this might be your home away from home. From Steve at the front... More

I've stayed many times, and each experience is better. Kudos to management and staff. The pool is well maintained, the roads are in the best condition in years, clean, new lodgings, and a functioning laundry on site make this a 5star for me. The restaurant is a unique and cool place with good food and beverages. My thanks to Dre... More

We enjoyed our 3-night stay here while hiking the National Park. It is definitely a "lodge," not a hotel. Accommodations are basic, clean, and comfortable (if a bit dated). The AC, hot water, and wifi worked well. I enjoyed the staff and found them exceedingly helpful and nice. It was nice to have the small table/chairs and dresser in the... More

This place has an interesting history and is kind of funky. It's basically a compound way off the main road that probably works best for people who have an emotional tie to the area or who come with a family or other group to occupy yourself. They have a private airstrip (pretty long and acceptably maintained, which I say as... More

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at this lodge as we were initially looking forward to it. One of our motorcyclist's bike broke down in Marathon on our way so we had to stay the night in a motel in Marathon, rent a truck the next day just to head home back to Houston and end our ride. I called... More

The drive from terlingua seemed longer then 16 miles then down the road for 13 and dirt for 3, we were thinking lord what have we done. It is out there.. The room clean. The beds comfortable. Side note the strangest thing in one of the beds had polyester sheets, one cotton. The bed with the polyester sheets if you... More

The lodge location of the lodge was perfect, perched in a mountain. Lodges are four in one building so each room have a great view of the mountain or the mesa. Full service with restaurants, pool, laundry facility. Very clean and price is good. We had a lovely 3 day stay the personnel are very friendly, professional and informative. I... More

We liked our cabin fine and the restaurant served good food. There wasn`t anything to do there so we just enjoyed the sunset; star gazing and the restaurant. I think they need some kind of activity at this place to draw people in.
