We just loved our stay at Ocean Village! We travel with our Labrador Retriever, so we were really happy to find a pet-friendly hotel! There are specific rooms that are pet-friendly, so you can also book rooms that don't allow pets. The rooms are clean, everything you need, and the beach is beautiful. There is a restaurant/Cafe located on the...

This is a great place to stay in Surfside. We have been coming to this area for years but this is the first time we've stayed at this hotel. Movies on the Beach was a bonus. The biggest downside for us was its wheelchair accessibility. We had some issues but managed to make it work. They do have an elevator...

I have loved this hotel for a very, very long time. I was very excited to come and stay the weekend and be at my favorite hotel on my favorite beach. What I wasn't excited for was the way the rates for this hotel have been raised. The rooms have not been updated, as I had hoped when we booked...

We stayed here on Friday night. For $179 for 2 queens, the room was very small. There was no hot water. No phone in the room so my husband had to go the the office across the parking lot. They did move us to the room next door. The people in the room above us were very 'active'. They must...

If a clean room is a factor in your choice I'd maybe think again about this place. I you want one of the only hotels right on the water this is it. We came in to find the toilet a mess. I mean it was bad. The faucet was bad to. Checked in to no water. They did fix it...

Clean hotel and Beautiful beach! Friendly people and good food. New favorite place to vacation. Be sure to check out the jetty for fishing and shell hunting. Also check out historical markers for Fort Velasco located by the public entrance to the beach.

My husband and I came to the coast for a friends wedding. I was so impressed with this hotel we will be back with the family. It was placed just right between everything, close enough to the fun. Also not too close! They can accommodate our family of 6, that is always a great thing in my book. They also...

We didn't stay at the main hotel, but at the building about a half mile east which is supposed to be better than the hotel and has 6 one bedroom units with kitchens so you can cook some meals. The place is directly on the beach and we left the windows open all night to hear the surf. But this...

Falling apart, probably unsafe, yellow water that smells like sewage ... plugged sinks... comfy bed and quite at night made up for the fear of falling through the flexing bath tub. I wanted to run, my husband wanted to stay close to the beach. He won, will never do this again without asking to see it first. Shame on you,...
