We spent several nights at The Palms Resort last month. When we checked in we were advised our reserved king bed room was not available due to some systems issues. We were offered a queen bed room and commitment to a king bed room once one became available. Front desk staff was apologetic and helpful. We took her up on...

We went to the island for a 1 night getaway. We could not have picked a better place or location. It's a 3 second walk to the beach!! The cafe is also a gem! Delicious fresh food and well made cocktails. If you are interested in a real beachy type of old school place to stay this is it!!! Lovely...

I love staying at The Palms Resort. It's a small, quiet place that provides wonderful service, a great view of the beach and very reasonable rates. The staff is helpful and the restaurant is also wonderful. It's a bit on the old side and not very modern, but it's functional and clean. I will never stay anywhere else.

My husband, 20 months daughter and I have just arrived for 4 nights vacation. Despite the extra payment for earlier checking in (50%)and lack of stawtop. Our room is cosy, the beach is clean, aren't many people around the pool. We had a very tasty lunch in the downstairs restaurant. Would recommend this place.

My husband, daughter, dog, and I just got back from a 5 night stay at The Palms and all had a great time! Will definitely be returning next time we are at SPI. Rustic and not ultra luxurious (which is just what we wanted for a dog friendly vacation), the suite was super clean, had everything we needed, and had...

My husband and I just returned from a 5 night stay at the Palms Resort on SPI. Since we were celebrating our 25th anniversary and this was our first time in South Padre, we wanted to make it right. So many choices between high rise resorts, condos, low budget (not really a choice, but they're out there). After thoroughly researching,...

For the past 10 years I have been coming to the SPI area for my long vacation. I normally spend the majority of my stay at the South Padre Island Golf Course in Laguna Vista. I love the island but I hate the traffic. But for part of my stay I always book myself into The Palms for one or...

Great getaway spot, quiet, comfortable, clean as a whistle, great little restaurant (upscale by SPI standards) on the beach, superb menu, prices and service. Nice pool, ample parking, on the beach. Had an end suite, with sitting area and small kitchenette,
