Just passing through and decided to save a few dollars and stay the night here based on reviews. This will now be our regular stopover spot! With tax we paid $60 for the night. Clean, clean, clean (and my standards are VERY high!) The towels were thick and fluffy and the bedding was thick and fluffy, too. The A/C worked like a charm and the water was hot and the water pressure was excellent. The front desk even provided a toothbrush when I’d realized I’d left mine behind. The clientele were just regular folks passing through and NOT the long term type that you see at some of these places. Don’t pay more for less….stop here when you are passing through Snyder!

I had a wonderful stay at Purple Sage Motel in Snyder, TX. The cozy accommodations made me feel right at home, and the swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a long day. As a pet owner, I appreciated the pet-friendly policy, which made traveling with my dog hassle-free. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Snyder, I highly recommend Purple Sage Motel!

Price is very reasonable. However I had reserved king sized bed and when i arrived I was told they did not have any king sized beds available. Also no ice was available, they said ice machine was broken. Plus dead bolt lock on room door was not working.

Worst room ever. No hot water at the sink, microwave didn't work, no soap at all, no coffee for the little brewer, no iron in the wall holder. To top it off the maid woke me up well before checkout time so she could get her day over with. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. I was there for the Snyder bike rally. Next year I will get a quality room for a few more $$$.

I stumbled across this mom and pop on my way to Amarillo. I went in to check it out and loved it. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the room met my OCD cleanliness standards. It’s obvious that owners take great pride in their place. An absolute gem!

We stayed one night in transit from Carlsbad Caverns NP to Dallas and we were quite pleased with the accommodations. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well and the room was clean. The switches for the light & fan for the shower/commode were outside the door to that room so that could play havoc with a mischievous child about. In the office there is a plethora of Christian and right wing literature available. I'm not as concerned with the religious leanings as I am with the presence of Ann Coulter hate screeds in a motel office.

I stayed here twice. It is located halfway between Houston and Albuquerque. It is a very good value for money, has everything you need at a motel without a lot of frills. There is laundry on site. The staff were nice and I was able to get a room without a reservation and no hassles. A free breakfast was provided, also no frills. I recommend the Purple Sage if you are passing through town but Snyder also has some local historic interest to offer. The staff was nice and helpful. Good experience.

Stayed overnight on my way to NM. While the outside is unimpressive, I was surprised to enter a nice little fresh painted room with everything I needed: fridge, microwave, hair dryer, etc. My only complaint would be that the bedspread had stains on it. I would stay here again.

I had an excellent stay here, the owners were very friendly, the room was comfortable, they allowed my dog to stay, and the breakfast was good. If I ever go that way to a Denton, Texas I will surely stay again. Also it was nice and quiet.

Although no rooms were available the owner offered my husband and I one of the RVs he also rents for the same $45 as a room would cost us. The RV was very small but clean with a bed and shower which was very much appreciated.
