The Inn at Salado is an absolutely perfect place to stay! Great location right in the heart of town, super friendly staff, a delicious hot breakfast (waffles, HOMEMADE quiche, hot fluffy biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit ... yummy!), and a very comfy bed with lots of pillows. We even enjoyed a lovely fire in the fireplace! Such a relaxing stay... More

Stayed at the Baylor House for our 15th wedding anniversary. Very cute, the addition of a few amenities and upgraded decor would definitely improve the experience. A TV would be great, not everybody wants to stare at the walls, it would have been nice too watch movies etc without the kiddos. The rooms in the house have journals, it sure... More

Hello, I am glad you stayed with us. We are under new management so we will be upgrading room gradually. I am sorry for there not being a journal in the room I thought we had put a new one in there not too long ago. Sometime guest will take by accident. I will make sure we put one in... More

The breakfasts were great and they accommodated my no-meat diet. The room and whole place was very clean and neat. I loved the oldness of the place -- history, nostalgia. Don't expect it to be a Holiday Inn or other Hotel. It is a nice bed and breakfast in an interesting town with lots of art in the town.

From the time we checked in (early at no additional charge so we could get dressed for the wedding) until the time we checked out we were treated like family. The room was comfortable, charming and romantic with the oversized marble tub/shower. A large private balcony with huge live oak trees at the ends overlooked the main street. The grounds... More

This B&B is located on Main Street and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was comfortable and clean, although it lacked in aesthetics, the kind you'd expect in a historic B&B. The coffee was outstanding and the breakfast was delicious and fresh. The service was impeccable to boot. A great place for a weekend getaway.

Our "Girlfriend Group" had a lovely weekend in Salado, Texas. We stayed at the Inn at Salado which is a delightful bed and breakfast. We had two suites; each had two queen sized beds and a balcony with rocking chairs. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were a bit small, but certainly serviceable. There were many choices for breakfast,... More

The area this B & B is in is beautiful, walking distance to the creek which is a gorgeous area especially late afternoon. There are several outside areas to sit and relax in the shade and view the gardens. The inside, our room, was nice, clean, and comfortable. The homemade breakfast was very delicious, nice atmosphere, looking out of the... More

We had our wedding in the chapel and the reception in the hall. We stayed in the cottage and it was the best wedding ever! The staff is super helpful and made sure everything went perfect. I felt relaxed and stress free on the big day and I highly recommend. We were unable to get a room on our anniversary... More

We have clearly been staying at too many hotel chains in recent years, so it was almost a culture shock venturing into a bed and breakfast! Visiting a family run venture, it is nice to feel like welcomed like an old friend rather than as a corporate client. The professionalism that is expected in a hotel chain is replaced by... More

My husband and I had our wedding at the Inn at Salado this March. It was the most memorable and beautiful moment in my entire life. Our bridal package made our wedding stress free and everything was flawless. For less than $7,000 I had everything done for me. The price included our rehearsal, chapel or outdoor ceremony, reception hall, recpetion... More
