I took my team for a high school weekend tennis camp and team building. The tennis instruction was great. The instructors were super energetic. My team improved and loved every minute. The team building was excellent. Each person was pushed to his/her limits. I can't say enough good things about our team building instructors Andy and Vicky. I highly recommend...

My husband and I just completed our second trip to the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch. We had a fabulous time. Our second trip differed greatly from our first trip but both get a 5 star rating. Our first trip was from Thursday to Sunday and the participant size was quite large. However, we were still able to get a lot...

I spent a week doing the intensive adult tennis program. There were only two other students, so the coach to student ratio was about 1:1. The coaches were young, but enthusiastic and well trained. They were able to identify problems in my game and ways to fix them. The ranch has both hard and clay courts, so I could choose...

My husband and I participated in the week-long tennis program at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in late October 2015. We're regular club players who are looking to improve our game and get some extra summer weather. The tennis professionals were universally welcoming and excellent at instruction. We were lucky to have a small tennis camp, so we had nearly...

A great ranch setting in the hill country! Nothing fancy, but the rooms are comfortable and clean, the food was good, the beer was cold and the tennis was fantastic! A special treat was to meet and listen to John Newcombe himself. Chris and all the pros were knowledgable and really made learning fun! All and all a great weekend....

Just finished a week long adult tennis camp at Newk's while my daughter simultaneously did the kid's week long camp. I cannot say enough good things about the kids' camp. My daughter had a ball and has already made me promise we are coming back next year. i can see this becoming a regular father/daughter week for us going forward...

First to review the accommodations: my 1br condo was spacious and amenity-laden, though the air conditioning was set unspeakably low when I arrived. Also, there was a single, not very soundproof door between it and the unit next door. The bed was quite comfortable, though not all my fellow tennis campers reported the same. Even without the tennis instruction, this...

I went back to Newks for the third (and final time) in October 2014, as part of a 'group' that goes to Newks every year. I was told that some of the rooms had been remodeled, since the last time I was there, so I requested one of those rooms. Though the room was an improvement , I still found...

We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your visit to the Ranch as you obviously had the previous 2 times. We wish we would have known about your room problems as we try to follow up immediately and correct upon hearing any concerns. For your information we have replaced our door locks and now have a keyless system....

I went for a week long tennis camp; there were just 4 others doing the camp besides me. The pros were very friendly and attentive and since we were so few attendees, each individual could get lots of specific advice. The resort itself is a bit isolated, accommodations are rustic (after all it calls itself a ranch, not a resort)...

I had sent my child here this past summer and was extremely dissatisfied when my child had texted me the menu. It's far from healthy and is not proper nutrition for playing tennis all day. The food quality is terrible. There were flies crawling all over all of the food and the salad. There are cockroaches everywhere and the cleaning...
