Lovely spot with a beautiful view. Lovely big bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower. Colin and Kathleen were lovely people. Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely extras of scones and chocolate cake when we arrived and on our second afternoon. Amazing information folder provided full of walks, local information, resturants etc. Clean but not spotless!

The hosts were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Kathleen was so chatty and had some hilarious stories to tell she put everyone at ease. Colin was a brilliant cook, there was plenty of choice for breakfast, all the food was tasty and cooked perfectly, and served in the comfortable dining room, where all the guests sat around the same...

On our arrival late afternoon we were welcomed with tasty home-baked scones and tea and it kept getting better after that! The en-suite bedrooms were spacious and pristine and the views were simply...

We spent to wonderful days in Edinbane at Ashaig. The house is pleasant and beautifully situated with a terrific view. Colin and his wife spar friendly, knowledgeable and effusive, and Colin produces superb breakfasts. A great place to stay, especially if you want a friendly host, involved in and committed to improving your stay in Skye.

A lovely welcome by Kathleen and Colin set the scene for a superb four night stay, our bedroom was large and the bathroom was massive, a sunroom to sit and relax in which was full of books and wooden puzzles. Breakfast was in the high points towards perfect and Colin's full breakfast was perfectly cooked, served by oh so cheerful...

Believe all the rave reviews of Ashaig - it's everything you could ask for in a B&B. Colin has assembled the best collection of informative materials we'd ever seen - numerous hikes & walks, maps, restaurants, shops, various points to see on the island. Cathleen's lovely gardens, tea & cakes, and genuine warmth made it feel like home. Our room...
