Having arrived and checked in, I had made full payment for my 2 night stay before arriving, I was asked for a credit card for adding any extras, happy with that. When I checked out I had nothing to pay and assumed my £50 would be returned to my card? WRONG, I had to email and speak to a receptionist...

Such a shame that this hotel has the core ingredients for a beautiful stay but service overall very poor and to be honest terrible in the restaurant. Frosty and rude restaurant manager who wanted to argue with us whenever we raised any concern and was clearly not suited to a fine dining setting.

Rushton Hall is a beautiful historic hotel with really nice rooms and a great swimming pool. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was delicious. The service was ok, but could have been a bit friendlier. All in all, a great place to stay!

I had an over night spa break with my friend this weekend and we were both very impressed. Not only is the building and ground absolutely stunning, the staff were very polite and helpful, and the bedroom rooms and facilites were excellent. The food was delicious. Also the spa facilities were very nice and the treatments were spot on. It...

It has been 12 months from our last stay at Rushton Hall and I'm glad to see they are keeping the quality high, right from the moment you arrive you are made to feel special. We stayed in the Charles Dickens room which we ask for after trying others this is our first choice for room size, location in the...

Myself and partner stayed at Rushton Hall last night, we had the 'Spa, Night stay & Breakfast' deal, for an extremely reasonable price, On arrival the drive up to the building is breathtaking, and it is a truly stunning establishment. Reception staff welcomed us and showed us to our room which was located in the 'Stableyard' where the spa is...

We stayed at Rushton Hall last night for my partner's birthday. The hotel is magnificent and set in beautiful grounds. Upon arrival I was very pleased with my booking and the stable-yard spa is very well presented to the side of the grand entrance and lovely foyer. Carrying heavy bags we were not met by a porter which surprised me...

Firstly, this is a marvellous looking hotel, the grounds are lovely, the walk didn't take as long as we expected in fairness. The converted stable is now the most beautiful spa, I would highly recommend this place for a spa day if your in the area. We didn't have treatments so I cant comment on that, but they had a...

We had a wonderful time here. The grounds on arrival are an amazing sight. Just such a shame the weather was rubbish. Our room was hidden away and we got lost in this wonderful building each time we ventured out. We took advantage of the spa and enjoyed most of the facilities. We were just gutted that we couldn't use...

Wanted to write this because having not been to Rushton Hall for over 2 years after 2 unsatisfactory evenings there where the staff were amateur and in some cases rude, I was so pleasantly surprised. I had complained to the owner that the standard of service had gone down hill and it had put me off returning. Well all I...
