We decided to go out for tea to Sahara playa as they were advertising a buffet with lovely food. After paying 14€ each (not including drink) for what the receptionist told us included a drink, we had high hopes of a decent meal. The chinese buffet consisted of only noodles, rice, beef in pepper sauce and fried peaches; very plain.... More

We booked an all-inclusive stay which featured food that's more focused on quantity rather than quality. Never did I experience in the 1 week I stayed there some shrimps/gambas or mussels. But they did have a lot of cheaper stuff and you'd never go hungry. Don't think that the all you can drink offer is that great - you get... More

Tried the breakfast and dinner buffet's in this hotel. The breakfast has a nice range of cold food, e.g. sliced meats, cheeses, salad etc. Hot food is a bit more limited. It is nice that you can see the eggs, pancakes and bacon being freshly cooked in front of you but the scramble egg is to be avoided at all costs.... More

Stayed at the Las Gondolas Apartments with the half board option so breakfast and dinner were taken at the Sahara Playa. Very organised, mostly friendly staff and a fantastic variety of food catering for all tastes. The hotel's clientele appear to be mostly German so the food is tailored accordingly but there's plenty for us Brits to enjoy.

This hotel is really great, so close to the beach and to Kasbah too, where you can find so much bars and disco. The food is nice, and the staff also. The rooms are a little old, but everything is clean and you have so big space inside. I recommend this hotel!! I was here 2 times, and never disappointed!

We booked this hotel through Lowcostholidays - and ryanair - as we looking for a fair priced all inclusive half term getaway in the Canaries to celebrate our 21st anniversary, Valentines Day and a birthday all at the same time. We mentioned this in our submission and also asked for a quiet room, upper floor and a sea view. The... More
