we spent our summer holidays there - August the location is great, Costa Smeralda is one of the most beautiful areas in Mediterranean Sea apart from that we can say that this is very expensive in comparison to the offered services for sure this can not be considered a five stars hotel but rather a 4. Just to mention an...

We flew Easyjet from London at 5.50 a.m. arrived in Olbia early thinking lunch in the sun having been up half the night - to be confronted with an hour wait to collect our hire car from Avis! There are no directions to the hotel on their web-site - you need to go directly on the main road to Palau...

To stay in the Capo D'orso is to spend a week in heaven. Blissful night's sleep then open your window to beautiful views framed by trees. As the sun rises you catch the scent of the gardens - lavender, sage, rosemary. There are so many smart staff around who all smile and greet you. We were not in the least...

Had a one week holiday in September 2009 in a Junior suite. Hotel is beautifully set and cleverly laid out to make the most of its private and beautiful setting - see their website videos for good views of the facilities. Generally had a very good holiday with attentive service. Weather was mixed ( the hotel was actually hit by...

Capo D'orso is a lovely resort. Stayed here for 5 nights wtih my husband at the beginning of September. We were greated with a nice cold fruity drink and given a quick run down of the resort while sitting on a sofa. When we were done we were shown to our room and the girl showed us how everything worked....

Just returned from the Capo d'Orso and (whilst I don't normally review things) just had to review this hotel. We stayed for one week during the last week of August which meant that prices were slightly cheaper and it wasn't too hot (but still 34 degrees!). We stayed in a double deluxe with sea view and the room was really...

We spent our honeymoon here and took a suite, with the terrace leading out onto the garden , a few metres from the sea. The room was beautiful, particularly liked the service, bed turned down and petit fours, and weather report for the next day every evening. Spa treatments excellent, and resteraunt great. The food was very fresh and tasty,...

We stayed here for one week at the end of June and it really wasn't long enough. From the moment we arrived everything was wonderful. The check in was personal and informative, you don't just hover at the reception desk but are shown to the hotel lounge area where you sit on a comfortable sofa given a complimentary drink as...

The roads are well signposted if you are driving here - we arrived on the ferry from Corsica, so were able to take the car. When you arrive, you take the car down to the hotel and they take your bags etc and park the car for you - although we didn't realise they would do this, so had a...

My wife and I recently stayed here for our belated honeymoon. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by Sardinian flora and alive with lizards and butterflies. Buildings use local stone and blend in with the surroundings. Two gorgeous beaches and 'solariums' - platforms by the sea - offer great swimming opportunities, as do the 2 outdoor swimming pools....
