Stayed here 5 nights with my son while visiting the Arras battlefields. Arras is 20 minutes away. This is a wonderful B&B fully deserving 5* for the breakfast alone. Called Le Petit Déjeuner in France, this should be renamed Le Grand Déjeuner! Everything is locally sourced or homemade. My son loved the smoked trout. I loved the breads and jams.... More

The host is charming, very friendly. He runs a lovely B&B - comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts are plentiful and fresh. But you MUST stay for dinner. Lovely Hosts. excellent breakfast with many products made by the hosts or sourced locally. Lovely garden. Phillipe assisted with our bookings for dinner and tourist attractions. The underground tunnels were really worth a visit.Fully recommend.

What a lovely place for an overnight stay ! Philippe and Patricia Rousseau are wonderful hosts. Food is good and very locally sourced - a lot of the fruit and summer vegetables from their own garden. Our room was small but perfectly comfortable. We woke fully refreshed, to enjoy a generous breakfast, with superb coffee !

This house is in a quiet village close to Arras. We were going to Thiepval the following day but it would be ideal for a stop over driving south in France. We chose Les Volets Bleus because of its proximity to the Vimy Memorial and other WW I sites near Arras, but we would return for the exceptional hospitality of Philippe and Pat. We had a great overnight here during a trip in September. As many have already included in their reviews, Phillipe and Patricia were amazing hosts. I booked this last minute based on reviews and they couldn't do enough to accommodate. Patricia even collected me from the train station, having advised me of the train timetable schedule and where she would be waiting for me. They were more than happy to drop... More

Philippe et Patricia Rousseau are happy to welcome you all year long in the " Volets bleus" (the blue shutters).Located right in front of the golf course, 3 kms away from the famous squares of Arras, 3 guestrooms (full occupancy 9 persons) just refurbished and redecorated with view either on the golf course or their flowered garden (we'll see.. in winter…)A 1,4 acres garden, with garden furniture.We have car parking in the garden, a separate entrance for the guest rooms, and for the golfers, the club house 300 yds away. The green fee will be booked for you at preferred rates if you are staying at "les volets bleus".You will have peace and tranquillity in the green surroundings of the golf course , 27 holes (18 + 9) left as a nature sanctuary for its wildfowl (Swans, teals, mallards, heron, roe deer). ... more   less

“All are rooms are excellent and I was situated downstairs a few doors from the dining room. However Patricia was extremely apologetic that she couldn't provide me with a bed upstairs, which provides a more authentic experience and view of the surrounds.”
