Looking at hotels in Rouffach Alsace, France I am surprised to see This entry. Fristly It is Château d'Isenbourg not Isembourg; secondly it is a first class hotel not a B&B and finally you had had these details for many years and "the Chateau" appeared in the hotel section with many reviews, now inexplicably it is in the B&B section...

This luxurious hotel is truly spectacular ! The dinner is perfect, the views from the jacuzzi on the vineyards is amazing. the rooms are large, perfectly decorated. In short, a great place to stay for a long weekend in the Alsace when you want to enjoy the Wineroute and the gastronomy of the Alsace

The Hotel: Gorgeous grounds and a lovely castle exterior lead to a traditional interior nicely done, but showing wear. The Room: We booked a basic double room with a "vineyard and park view" and received a smallish sparsely furnished room with a double bed and a courtyard view. Despite Club SLH membership, we were not upgraded. The bed was slightly...

We stayed for a Saturday night at this hotel. The cost feels very high with the pound so low against the euro so it was with pleasure we found we had been upgraded from a Traditional room to a Superior one with its own private terrace. We paid 237 Euros and the rack rate of 295 was on the back...

Chateau Isenbourg has some of the most beautiful hotel grounds I have seen. The hotel is on top of a hill overlooking Rouffach with vineyards leading up to the building. The outdoor pool overlooks the town and has spectacular views while the indoor pool has views of the hills behind. There is an open area with a fountain and tables...

We used the Chatuea as a home-base for 2 days of exploring the wine route, Haut Koenigsberg, and Colmar. This is the third Grandes Etapes Françaises property we have stayed in. We booked an inexpensive room through hotels.com and then upgraded upon arrival. Eveything is really lovely, what we would expect for a French Chateau at that price-point. There was...

Hotel is well positioned for the Alsatian Wine Road and a good place to spend time with young kids. Could use a bit of a modernization, but the location, views and swimming pool (simple but good) are excellent. You can borrow bikes (with child seat) for free and tour wineries. Breakfast is slightly overpriced but the views are nice and...

Have spent 3 nights at the end of December 2007. Our room was of a nice size with black-out curtains that did not close. As the sun did not come out for 3 days it was not a big problem. The minibar (not filled completely because they run out of few items) was in a modern piece of furniture that...

We stayed one night in a classic room overlooking the vineyard. The room was larger than we expected with a seperate sitting area near the double-door entrance (Room 4). We had our seven-month old daughter so we requested a crib. We were pleasantly surprised to see they had the crib already set up with a teddy bear, child's robe, and...

A very nice chateau in a quiet village. Nice grounds, very romantic setting. We stayed at the classical room. It is not in the main building but only few meters away. Room was big and very good. Hotel has an inside/outside pool, sauna and steam room. Staff was very friendly. They opened the spa area way after closing for just...
