We have been coming here for about 18 years when it Koyote Ranch. We are highly dissatisfied however with this visit. Of course Wi-Fi has never really worked good, but this is the dirtiest we have ever seen the pool. In fact, I won’t go in it. It’s such a shame this place has gone down hill, it’s such a pretty location and such nice cabins too. Don’t think we will be returning unfortunately

So quiet and secluded. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Deer and wildlife love to hang out near the rv’s. Will definitely be coming back again. There isn’t very much cell reception but we didn’t come out here to look at our phones :)

Thank you! We hope to see you again very soon. yes, we do understand that cell phone reception can be tough in the valley. If you visit again, the wifi picks up well from the lodge area and you can use WIFI for calling out.

Great place! Staff is very friendly. The sites are good size for RVs. Lots of little cabins too. They have a huge dog park which ours guys loved! Kerr vile is just minutes away. If it matters to you, there are a lot of Harley riders.

We rented a cabin for one night that overlooked the canyon and it was really cute. The cabin was clean, campground was well kept and the staff was very nice. We wanted somewhere close to Bandara so we could float the Medina River and this was perfect. Here is what we loved: -Clean Cabin with a great back porch and view of the canyon and surrounding mountains. -Cabin had a fridge, coffee, make up remover wipes (very smart!), basic toiletries, paper towels in a pop up dispenser (smart!), and we noticed 'Motorcycle rags' in a basket for bikers so they would use those specific rags rather than the regular rags and bath towels. They really thought of everything. -Although we didn't use it, there was a common area to use a grill with picnic tables. -Two beds that were comfortable -A great air conditioning unit that kept us very comfortable. -Benches at the foot of each bed to place suitcases -Deer roaming around in the evening with lots of babies which was really fun for the kids to see. -Very nice swimming pool -We enjoyed the Bigfoot Hiking Trail up to 2,000 feet. It was a great morning hike! We found a cave that had millions of daddy long legs hanging from the ceiling. It was creepy and cool at the same time. -The pond nearest to the main entrance has two big swings in the trees and is such a beautiful setting. There were little tiny frogs everywhere, some so small that they looked like spiders! -In the evening we walked up to the main building where there was a shuffle board table, pool table and dart board in an outdoor/covered area. There was also a stage and outdoor seating so maybe they have live music at times?? Everything was very well maintained, clean and just a nice place to hang out for a night or two. I'm glad my husband found this place and booked it. Made for a fun outing! please be aware-that there is not wifi or phone service in this area but you can easily get it by driving into Medina or Bandera. Didn't bother us for one second! We loved being off the grid!

Our Families have been vacationing at KOYOTE Ranch/ Medina High Point for the past 7 years. This year is our last. The Staff at the Location are great, but when the Grill has been taken away, and the hours cut on the store opening. That has lead us to look for a different location in the Hill Country. It was the perfect spot for our families to spend 4 to 7 days. Kids love to swim and adults loved to ride motorcycles in the hills. Then enjoy the evening at the Grill & bar. NOT NOW!!!! They have stopped catering to people that ride motorcycles. Just wanted to say Thank You to the Staff. Corporate can take a hike!!!! They are not even in Texas!!!

Thank you for your feedback. It was an agonizing decision but after multiple attempts to save the restaurant...it ultimately had to be closed. We have made other accommodations to make the transition easier for our motorcycle riding guests. We have recently brought refrigeration into our bunkhouses (to chill your own food or beer).

We have been coming here for years and loved it, but this time was a little different. They have closed their restaurant....was great having catfish on Friday night and pizza on Saturday. Also their WiFi is extremely poor and you definitely need it their because we couldn’t get any bars on cell phone and were using WiFi calling.

Sadly, it rained all day Friday and Saturday (mid-October) but we were determined to make the most of it and the sun finally came out Sunday. The rain let up enough on Saturday for a hike up the mountain to the look-out area that's complete with a bench to rest and take in the view. The staff is awesome! The cabins are clean. The grounds are well-kept. They have a store/grill on the property too. I would plan on a trip when the weather is warmer to use the pool or later in the fall to make a trip out to Lost Maples to see the fall foliage.

We stayed here for a week in our RV. Very nice place easy to get to multiple places for hiking and enjoying the towns of the Hill country. They are close enough to get to places but remote enough to be away from traffic. Beautiful surroundings. My only criticism is the store closes too early, 4pm each day. You will see lots of wildlife!
