Two nights in April. Attracted by the reviews here. Heart fell when confronted by small metal door in narrow street. Looked more like one of those dodgy hotels round the Gare du Nord in Paris. But once upstairs it opens out into a modern well appointed property with good size rooms, great beds and modern but rather overdone bathrooms. We...

We had a wonderful overnighter here. Great location, a short 5 minute walk from El Escorial. Lots of good restaurants nearby. A totally clean room, modern in design, and a staff that went the extra mile to make our experience a perfect one. Only one slight problem -- the internet was a little glitchy, but I suspect they would have...

once we found it, enjoyed our stay very much;; each room is well designed; nice touches optimise space and function. liked the jacuzzi bath. Downside is parking and access for bag drops and such like but it is a small core and free parking is usually within a few hundred yards. One big grumble - but this is in every...

This hotel doesn't provide particularly good value for money. Rooms were clean but felt dated when compared to comparably priced "boutique" hotels elsewhere, and small items such as a broken shower fitting show a lack of attention to detail. Won't be returning and wouldn't recommend to friends or family.

Right in the centre of town overlooking the square, a little boutique hotel of 11 rooms offering a modem, friendly place to stay. The best three rooms offer double size jacuzzi baths (we managed to squirt water all over the floor after one of us hopped out, lowering the water level to a point where one jet was no longer...

I travelled here for business on 6th February 2016 for 7 nights. The front door might look a little cagey but once you enter the hotel it is quite modern. I had a standard room which was of a good size with a large bathroom, the bed was very big and comfortable. There are tea and coffee making facilities on...

Very nice little 'boutique' hotel, literally a stones-throw from the Escorial. Situated in a pleasant little plaza with many bars and restaurants nearby. The lady on reception was very welcoming and even recommended a good restaurant nearby. There was a fiesta the 1st evening, so the town was very busy, but great fun, and a very friendly atmosphere. Our room...

Our first night of a two-week trip round Castilla & Leon, Asturias and Bilbao. Reason? To visit the Escorial. The hotel is slap-bang in the centre of town, and you can see the top half of the Escorial from the bedroom window. Room was lovely: big, comfortable bed, good bathroom, great shower. The entire hotel has been modernised on the...

Right on the main square this is in the heart of Escorial, a 6-10 minute walk from the bus station (1 hour on the 661 or 664 bus from Moncloa in Madrid). Surrounded by all of the main tourist attractions, bars, cafes and restaurants, the perfect place to stay. We had a Superior room which was overlooking the main square,...
