Had a great stay except for the fact that there was no hot water in the evening :( Breakfast was top notch and beds comfy however. I stayed here in the past and enjoyed my stay. The cookies are a nice touch as well.

This has always been my favorite hotel in McAllen; however, the facility has slowly been deteriorating- broken elevators, rooms that smell like sewage, broken doors that lead out onto the balconies... it needs some TLC.

The room was clean and nice but the hot water was a problem. My first night there after being on flights all day all i wanted to do was take a hot shower. There was no hot water my first night so i had to take a cold shower. The second day i let the shower warm up for 15 minutes....it got somewhat warm but never hot. My boss stayed in a different room and didn't have hot water either....as a matter of fact his shower stopped working all together. They had all day to rectify the situation and when we returned from a long day it was not fixed. For the price we payed for this hotel the experience should have been better.

We stayed here for one night while touring southern Texas. It is an all-suite hotel conveniently located just off the US-83. Our room on the 6th floor was well equipped and comfortable, but it did suffer from some street noise overnight. The buffet breakfast was good but not outstanding.

If you are visiting the McAllen area, this hotel is a fantastic value for what we found to be a 5 star facility. Try the 2 bedroom suite which is very spacious and comfortable. Free parking, breakfast, and the famous cookies are a fitting topper to a most comfortable visit.
