This hotel is super cool and charming. Excellent location right by the Presidio court house. Our "mezzanine" room was vey nice and the beds were super comfy! I would give 4.5 stars and the only reason it's not 5 is because you can hear other doors opening and closing in the hallways, but it is a historic hotel and I... More

A very unique hotel with a lot of history. The courtyard is very inviting and the fountain adds a nice relaxing touch. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is most accommodating. The train is very disturbing in other words, LOUD.

Lovely historic hotel with charm & comfort. Great location in the middle of town....if Marfa even has a middle and walking to sights & restaurants is easy. The staff is nice and helpful. Completely enjoyed our time and can't wait to return.

The Paisano is the only place we stay when in Marfa. it is historic, perfectly located and comfortable. Service and rooms are good. The lobby, courtyard and bar/restaurant are excellent. Jett's grill is a bit heavy going but pleasant enough. Will happily return.

Spent two nights there and, because we made our reservations so late, stayed in two different rooms. Both were nice but with very small bathrooms. I understand why they are, it's just harder to navigate when there's no space for anything. But we enjoyed the ambience and overall feel of the hotel and their very friendly staff and would stay... Walking into the lobby of this historic gem, you felt transported back into a bygone era. We loved everything about Hotel Paisano! Check in was a breeze and we were able to get into our room early, always a plus. Our desk clerk, Lupita was exceptional. We were given information about the hotel, the area and when we asked about... More

What a page from the past this hotel represents. It is very well cared for and is worth the stay. It is in a quaint little west texas town mostly known for the unexplained lights you can see on clear nights. No one has really figured out what causes them. There is an old historic courthouse in town dating back... More

First I have to say the Paisano is truly a charming hotel, very historic. This is actually the second time we've stayed there, but this time was less than perfect. My nightmare started the first night we were there. I got up at 3:00 a.m. to go to the bathroom and when I closed the door, the latch stuck and... More

Having always been curious about that mythical far west Texas town; Marfa... we finally decided to take a trip and check it out for ourselves. Nearly 500 miles later, we found ourselves stepping back in time as we entered the beautiful throwback lobby of the Hotel Paisano. The sense that Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean roamed these halls is palpable.... More

I have always wanted to stay here because of the ambience, and it was just as I imagined. A great courtyard for meals, beautiful foyer, restaurant, and a whole selection of shops right in the hotel itself. The rooms are clean, old and true to the historic nature of the hotel. Room air condition is central air, so the ceiling... More
