We camped for one night before heading to Big Bend. It was the worst night of sleep I have ever had. They are right next to a train crossing and almost every hour the train went by blaring its horn throughout the night. They do have warm bathrooms with hot showers and if you hav

This RV park and motel is a kitschy place but very comfortable and had good hookups. Due to other campers adhering to "dark sky" protocol you could view the night sky very well. Great birding park nearby - Gage Gardens and the County park is good as well a little further down

Just at the entrance of the small town of Marathon this place is a RV park and also offers 5 twin rooms bungalows.

Camping bathroom was clean and spacious. They also have laundry facilities and a clothesline!

Are you pet friendly? We have a small dog. Doesn't bark.
I think they are, as I saw several people walking their dogs, but they may have been in the RV part. You may want to call the motel and ask them.

What is the nightly fee? Thank you.
I stayed there in mid-September in a single room with a queen bed. I was billed $73.45 total, tax included. This place is a gem in west Texas. The rooms aren't large, but they are clean, the place is well-maintained, the people are friendly, and they have a very nice outdoor fire place to sit near while you joy the night sky.

I would advise you updating the information on tripadvisor to expand your listing to include the motel and rv park separately. It was hard to find you, but a pleasant surprise!
They are together.
