Mountain View Guest House has everything that the Hill Country has to offer. Beautiful views from both the house and other parts of the ranch (you can actually see enchanted Rock form the back ridge of the property). Easy access to Llano, Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. The ranch also has friendly animals that come right up to the gate (and...

We arrived at around 9pm because of weather problems and a late appointment, and the house was open and warm when we got there. There were plenty of blankets, towels, the kitchen had some condiments, coffee and creamer in the fridge, and there was soap and lotions in the bathroom! There were small convenience items like a hair dryer, blender,...

My family and I rented the Mountain View Guest House and The Birmingham House for the weekend. Both places were spotless. They even stocked the houses with things you might forget to bring with you. Lony and Joan are extremely nice people. We already made reservations to stay next year!!!

Perfect country setting between Llano and Fredericksburg. We spent two nights at the Mountain View guest house and was very impressed. The place was beautiful, clean, totally accommodating and very homey. We loved sitting on the front porch rockers watching the morning sun rise over the hill tops, the white horse, miniature donkeys and calf grazing in the pasture. The Reed's...

My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. While at the cabin, we did not see another person the entire weekend. It was great!! We cooked our own meals in the evenings in the adequately supplied kitchen and used the barbecue pit. During the day we were close enough to Austin to have an outing in Spicewood and climbed Enchanted...

This is the second time we have stayed at the Sunday House and the third time we have stayed at one of the Phoenix Next Guest Houses. As usual, everything was great! The house was super clean and had plenty of amenities. Joan (the owner) stopped by for a visit, so we now feel like family. This house is close...
