A very simple 1907 historic railroad hotel and events venue completely renovated with few amenities but lots of charm and a gorgeous backyard on the Llano River.

I really enjoyed my stay! The place is very nice, and has a spectacular view of the Blanco River from its large back porch.
What I loved most was Clair (Mgr) and her awesome staff! We were treated like "family".
We've never before stayed at a B&B. The experience was very nice! I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed at the Dabbs for 2 nights to explore Llano. The property is lovely and well-situated on the north bank of the river, with nice views from the expansive back porch. The decor is cool and old-timey, like you might expect, but not stuffy or Victorian, like some B&Bs. The hotel is currently managed by a young woman named Claire, and she was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfasts were tasty and hearty. A few of the guest rooms are very small, so be aware of that. The upstairs rooms (6, I think) share two bathrooms, but we were the only guests the nights we stayed so no issues there. A big plus is that the hotel permits pets so we were able to bring our two little old dogs. We really like this place and hope to visit again.

Another historic site I needed to visit where I heard Bonnie and Clyde stayed at. Nested near an old railroad depot and on the banks of the Llano River. This old white hotel looks more like a house but now a bed and breakfast. It caters to weddings too. Next door was a house for sale and decided to check out the backyard and noticed a nice enclosed patio at the back of Dabbs. With big trees and a view of the Roy Inks Bridge looks very nice spot for relaxing and drinking wine. The place looks well kept up and was even seeing if they had vacancy for the night. It is walking distance to local restaurants, museum and park next river.

This historic hotel has been restored and updated as a B&B. Disclaimer - our room was comped as we gave a concert in the Thursday Live Music Series. The place was charming and comfortable. Bathrooms are shared - bathrobes are provided for that short walk to the shower. Staff is very friendly and helpful - Greg even shared his private stash of tea with me. Breakfast was delicious and the view of the river from the dining room and deck and patio is beautiful. I would definitely stay at this place again and would gladly pay their very reasonable rate.

We have been driving from Killeen for the past few months to the Dabb's Hotel Concert Series. Host, WC Jameson is a wonderful host, Texas author, treasure hunter, singer/songwriter. Joining him are some of the best around, including David Lee, Mike Blakely, Lloyd Maines and Terri Hendrix, Richard Dobson, Walt Wilkins and others. Its a beautiful venue along the banks of the Llano River. Their concert series has become an important part of our summer routine!
