After a terrible experience at a nearby hotel, we checked out and came to this hotel... Tina was exceptional... she took the time to show us a room before we checked in, and she offered us a very good price, so we stayed.
The staff at this hotel are among the best we have experienced at a hotel in this price range. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is very average, but everything in the room worked, and we were comfortable. The hot breakfast is very basic, but adequate. The location is convenient to stores and restaurants.

We are staying here for several days because of an issue with our air conditioner. It’s affordable, close to I-35, offers breakfast, has free wifi, has a refrigerator and a microwave, our room was clean, and the AC works great! We are happy we chose to stay at this location and would do it again!

June 9th on checking in my Visa debit card was rejected due to my forgetting to advise Visa of my trip to Fort Worth, I advised Aldric Jones that I would and did pay in full with cash on checking out on June 15th. On 11th /12th June this hotel made 3 attempts to withdraw money from my account. On 12th June I had a call from UK advising what had occurred, after a prolonged expensive transatlantic call to my bank my card was reinstated. My latest statement shows that 2 further payments, £120 & £181 have been taken from my account by Aldric Jones although I had already paid dollars in full the amount billed. On two occasions whilst there I asked to speak to Aldric Jones the general manager to be told " he is not working today " when I had seen him walk through the door only minutes earlier. IS THIS THE WAY TO MANAGE A HOTEL ?????????????

Dear John, Thank you for your review. I do apologize for any confusion that occurred with your bill. While you did pay in cash at check out, it was for the first two nights of your stay for both rooms. However, the last two nights were not paid for. Since we did not receive payment we did need to charge the card we had on file. This is the charge you are showing on your end. I would be more than happy to discuss your concerns with you and have provided my contact information. I hope that if you are ever back in the area, you will consider staying with us again. Sincerely, Aldric J. General Manager lewisvillecis@tmihospitality.com

When we checked in we were given a dirty room. The beds were unmade like someone slept in them, towels in the floor of bathroom, sinks dirty and trash full. We were given another room across the hall, that room wasn’t much better. Cracks all over the walls. Hair in the bathroom, tv wasn’t working. My son woke up with bites all over his skin that was exposed to sheets. The rest of us had slept in joggers and hoodies . Breakfast area was filthy. We asked for two more pillows and we watched the attendant grab the pillows from the dirt room and put new pillowcases on them and hand them to us. Honestly I should be refunded but at least I got to cancel the second night. They advertise queen beds but they are double beds. I own a queen so I know the difference.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last 8 years and have been very satisfied. This time I tried to reschedule (not refund) a reservation and was offered no help from the hotel. Again, reschedule not refund. I’m very disappointed at the lack of concern. There are several hotels within rock throwing distance of this property, I will be choosing one of them next time. I will never stay at this chain again. In these difficult economic times, you would think a business would be a little more flexible.

I give this property one star only because I can't give anything less. I am a Gold Radisson Reward member and I thought I knew Country Inn & Suites, so I made my reservation online from their website after reading they had a courtesy van that could take guests up to 3 miles from the hotel for restaurants and shopping and that they had an indoor pool and whirlpool. When I arrived at the hotel at 2PM I was informed they had no rooms and that check in was not until 3PM. I was not acknowledged as a Gold Member. When I informed them I was a gold member and asked about a possible upgrade room I was told they had no suites, they were all being renovated. I walked across the parking lot to a restaurant for some lunch. when I returned after 3 PM I was told they had a room for me. As I headed up to my room i walked past the pool and whirlpool which I noticed the whirlpool had no water. Upon arriving in my room I noticed there was no phone, I went down to the Front Desk and informed them of this. Ten minutes later the Front Desk Clerk arrived with a telephone, but when she went to plug it in she discovered the room had no telephone jacks, she said she would send a maintenance man up to correct this. Maintenance never showed up later on I discovered the telephone wasn't the only thing missing although there was coffee packets with sugar and cream and coffee cups, there was not coffee pot. then I noticed the alarm clock didn't work. Later on I went down to the Front Desk to report the problems with the room and to ask for the courtesy shuttle to take me to a nearby restaurant, I was informed that they had no shuttle and they never had a shuttle for the three months she worked there. so I had to pay an extra $20 for a Lyft driver to take me to the restraint, and another $20 to bring me back. When I returned back to the hotel I requested a late check out and was informed stay as long as you like, the housekeeper probably won't get to your room till late afternoon. The next morning when I woke up I noticed the bedding had tags on it stating from Choice Hotels. When I came downstairs for my complimentary breakfast at 9:30 AM I was told they already stopped serving and put everything away. This was a Saturday morning and I know some people like to sleep in a little. I know this is not Radisson's quality standards, but if this was the first time I came to a Country Inn & Suites I would never step foot in another one again. And I will never stay at this one again. Why Radisson/Country Inn & Suites does not take their franchise away is beyond me. Let this be a lesson, always check Trip Advisor before hand even if you think you know the hotel brand. I have now learned this the hard way.

Be warned if you have a better option, take it. We were sent here by the airport so they could less about our business. The room smelled terrible like old mildewed socks. The smoke detector was beeping all night, we asked if we could change rooms and they said they were all booked up which was a blatant lie as they continued to take more guests in. The front desk clerk then said they would send someone to fix it which we knew wouldn’t happen at 1am and they never bothered to ask which room we were in. The room had water damage, left items from previous guests, it’s obvious they don’t care or take pride in their property.

Used Radisson Rewards to get a discounted price, chose this because reviews seemed decent…very misleading!
As I was checking in, a woman was trying to check in ahead of me and was informed she had been overbooked and was basically out of luck.
When we arrived at the room it was definitely not up to standards. Bedside lamps would not switch on. The table lamp had no light bulb! The bathroom door latch was misaligned and made it difficult to open door if closed all the way. In order to lock the deadbolt on the room door had to lift handle a bit to get it to line up.
Overall property looked shabby and not well kept. Hallway carpets looked dirty, doors could have used a paint job. When I departed and went to get a cart, one of carts looked like it had frosting all over the surface. Told front desk and their attitude was “oh well”
This location was definitely far below the condition of other locations of Country Inns where I’ve stayed previously. Very disappointed!

Seems like a nice hotel when we arrived. The outside was clean as well as the lobby and breakfast area. When we got to our room we noticed that the door safety latch was hanging by one screw. The bathroom door would not stay shut because the latch was jammed into the door. Before we meet with our family (gathering for a memorial service) I decided to take a shower. As I stepped in there on the back edge of the tub was a mass of very long hair. I left it where it was. When we laid down for the evening we noticed that the smoke detector was missing. The hotel sent me a text thanking us for staying with them and ask if there were any problems. I sent them a list of problems and provided pictures. The return text told me these issues would be addressed and corrected. When we checked out the problems were STILL THERE. Breakfast was another matter. Rubber eggs and most of the time, no sausage. Glad they had waffles. We stayed 3 nights because we thought we booked a great deal. Come on Choice Hotels you can do better.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I stayed at this hotel two weeks ago and I could not find the hotel at first glance because the name of the hotel was not even imprinted on front of the building. When I first step in, the place smelled and it very humid with no air conditioning. The front desk lady was very nice, but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. I booked this hotel to get a break and to relax in the hot tub, but guess what?? The hot tub did not work and it was filthy. The place needs cleaning and that includes the hallways because the walls and elevator is filthy. When I got to my room, it was clean and air conditioned. When I proceeded to watch t.v, I discovered that the channels take forever to switch to the next channel without any information about the show that I was watching. I had to call the front desk twice to ask if I could get a t.v that would show me at least the channels that were available to me and I was told that it was not available. Also, they had no ice available and if I wanted ice I would have to walk to another hotel!!!! The one major flaw that is unacceptable is the absence of breakfast. According to the website, there was supposed to be a complimentary breakfast, but all I got was a disgusting, old cup of coffee and poor customer service. They lied about breakfast and should really edit their website. I will not be returning to this place.
