We were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness standard at this facility. The bathroom was very dirty, including the inside and outside of the bathroom door and walls. We had to ask housekeeper to thoroughly clean the backside of the door after the initial cleaning of what we had mentioned. the whole room especially the bathroom would benefit from a Deep Cleaning. The bathroom fan was covered with at least 1/4" dark dust on its louvers and there was a scent of mildew in the bathroom.
The furniture is very worn, especially the living area furniture; it was very uncomfortable to sit on, the cushions were no longer of any support firmness.

My family and I relocated to Texas in March of 2020 and knew we would be in a Hotel until we found a House. We stayed at another Hotel in March and moved to Residence Inn Dallas Lewisville for more space; Kitchen, 2 BR, 2 Ba, Sitting Area, and King sized Beds. We stayed in two other Inns in Texas to get a feel for the areas, and returned to this location in July. We moved out in February 2021. The staff gave us wonderful service and made our stay here enjoyable! The building is older, but the customer service and accommodations more than make up for it. COVID-19 was an adjustment for all of us, but we couldn't have asked for a better location and staff for that time!

What a great stay at this hotel. Victor and the entire front desk staff was great. Location is great and near business that are open. The front desk staff is one of the nicest that i have experienced this year. Victor the front desk manager and his staff is great. I wish that i had all of the names of the front desk staff, but i will make sure that the general manager is aware of how great his staff is.

I’ve been a loyal member of Marriott Bonvoy for over 20 years, but after my recent experience at the Residence Inn in Lewisville, I will never stay at another Marriott Bonvoy property again.
My family and I (a family of six) checked into this hotel on 01/02/2025, seeking refuge after our home was flooded. We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised spacious, clean, 2-bedroom accommodations, which seemed perfect for my family, especially with children who have asthma.
However, upon entering the room, it was immediately clear that it was anything but what was advertised. The room had a strong moldy odor, the carpets were filthy, and the walls were visibly dirty. Given my children's asthma, there was absolutely no way we could spend even one minute in that room, let alone the night. We checked out immediately.
To make matters worse, five days later, the hotel has still not released the $520 I paid for a room that I couldn’t even occupy. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott Bonvoy property. The lack of cleanliness, the unsafe environment for my family, and the lack of professionalism in refunding my money is completely unacceptable.
Marriott Bonvoy, you have truly let us down. I expected much better, especially from a brand I’ve been loyal to for so many years. Never again.

On our third room in two days, each one gets better than the next, you cannot get a complete room from no air, to cockroaches, to no working TV. Come on Marriott, I certainly expect better than this. First room even have a sink under the garbage disposal, second room had no air-conditioning. We are now on the third room, neither TV work in either bedroom no silverware maintenance doesn’t want to be bothered

In all my years traveling, I have never had a bad experience at a Marriot until staying at the Residence in Marriot in Lewisville, TX. The hotel was nothing like what was portrayed in the pictures as this is a very old property which I did not know that Marriot owned. The room service was very sporadic, and the breakfast was very skimpy. There was even a morning where my wife could not get a cup of coffee as none had been made. Who does that. But it gets even better. The toilet in our room was clogged up and so my wife reached out to room service. When my wife went downstairs the following morning to get a cup of coffee and mentioned the toilet, the guy behind the counter handed her a small trash can with a plunger in it, and at that point, that was about all she wrote. Marriot should really take their names off this property as this is so far below their standards.

I stayed here in mid-September 2022. At check in the staff was courteous and check in was efficient. As I'm walking to my room it's obvious this place has not been updated in a long time or at least not well maintained. It has a run down and not so clean feel in the hallways. The rooms do have a cleaner feel though. My issue began when my key card didn't work. I went down to the desk and the lady reprogrammed the key. I went back because it still didn't work. I asked if she had a master key that she could try. She just reprogrammed by key, which still (of course) didn't work. She called maintenance, who she said was on-site, for which it took 45 minutes for him to get to my room. During this time I asked her to call the manager, for which she refused. It turns out the batteries in the door were too low to open.
Additionally, the next morning breakfast wasn't available until about 815 to 830 even though it's supposed to start at 600 or 630.
The manager offered points on whatever points program they have for the bad service. I don't have or want their points program. She called back saying they would send a gift card. More than one month later and I've never received the gift card.
All around bad customer service and just meh accommodations.

Overall, the worst Marriott’s hotel we’ve been in. Definitely the worst Residence Inn. The hotel needs to be completely refurbished. There is only one TV remote for two tv. Also cannot even turn on the TV manually for the other tv. Asked front desk about the tv, and she said something about “we are only here for one night”. What?! Don’t know what that has anything to do with one remote.. Our room is definitely really old. Curtains are torn. The closet door slide on the bottom is rusted. Dining chairs are worn out; office chair arm worn out; No clock/radio. Breakfast is 6:30am to 9:30am, but there was no breakfast until about 7:45am this morning. However, the kitchen staff member was very nice and apologetic. Apparently, for some reason, the staff had a late start. The air conditioner is very noisy when it turns on. The bed sheets were uncomfortable. On the positive note, the location is great, parking spaces are plentiful, room seems relatively clean, and checkin staffer was nice.

When we walked into the hotel my husband and I said that we hope the filthy lobby and carpet wasn’t an indicator of the room. Unfortunately, we were right. When we opened the door to our room we immediately noticed the dirty table and food crumb carpet. When we walked into the bedroom we noticed the closet door rail was rusty and the bathroom tub was dripping and rusty. It’s not a safe place for a baby to walk around so we immediately checked out. The photos on the website are outdated. We would rather pay an extra $100 a night than stay at this hotel.

This is an outdated hotel that needs a lot of work. All of the furniture in the rooms and lobby is worn and needs to be replaced. The room did not appear to have been throughly cleaned in quite a long time. There was food and other debris between the counter and stove. The staff seems untrained and not very helpful. This is the first hotel I have been to that does not serve coffee in the morning. I asked the front desk attendant, who was busy on her cell phone, about the coffee and she said she was unable to lift it to bring it out to the lobby. I offered to lift it for her and she said it had not been made yet. I returned the the lobby an hour lat (7:30am) and still no coffee. This hotel is certainly not up to Marriott standards. I will not be staying here again..

Thank you for your question. I understand how disconcerting that could be. I assure you we take pest control very seriously and take proactive steps to keep our hotel pest free. Unfortunately, as we are in Texas there are times especially in the summer when we do see a rise in pests making their way into the hotel. We work hard to stay on top of this so our guests can have a comfortable stay. As we are now entering the colder months it is much easier to keep them at bay. We hope you will give us a chance!
