This place is Perfect!!! I loved it, my kids loved it, my friends loved it, these folks know the true meaning of country living. You can swim, you can fish & best of all, Garner is only 10 minutes away. We can't wait to go back!!!

This was our first visit to Cypress Frio Waters but definitely won't be our last. David and Theresa are wonderful, making us feel welcome when we arrived. The property is private and beautiful, with a serene stretch of slow moving water nestled in huge cypress trees. There is the requisite rope swing over some deeper water, lots of small fish,...

First time here but won't be the last. If you want to have a family vacation and have the Frio River to yourself this is the place to come and the owners Theresa and David are very friendly. My family is already planning on a trip back.

This is the second year my family has rented these cabins. We loved the area, the cabins are very comfortable and well equipped. We had a great time, the Frio River is only a few steps away and you get exercise without even thinking about it. The water is clear and cold, very refreshing. This is a great place to...

Our immediate family of 25 members from various places around Texas used this property to hold a family reunion over a weekend in June. We rented all seven cabins, so we had the entire 50 acre parcel (within a much larger ranch) to ourselves. No noise or light pollution from outside civilization. The owners have horseshoes, frisbie golf, volleyball nets,...

The setting and cabin was ok compared to other cabins we have stayed in for the price but we had a problem with that contraption you call a sofabed to sleep on in the living room. The mattress was only about 3 inches thick and the springs came through it. We did put the foam pad you had there on...

I am truly sorry your experience with us was a bad one. Since your visit, we have replaced all of the fold out sofas with new futons that have an 11 inch mattress. I wasn't aware there was a party all night long at the cabins. I would have stopped the noise if I had known. I am sorry. In...

“All of the cabins seem to be equally nice, next year we will probably rent the duplexes. Just because it is hard to share a room with other adults, we have a 6 mth old so when she woke everyone in the cabin woke.”

“We've only stayed in the duplexes, and all of them are the same layout, with only decorating differences. There duplex closest to the main house doesn't feel like the lot is as cramped, but the public areas are all the same, and are open to all.”
