Very nice hotel for the price. The rooms are large and very clean. The service was excellent. This is a 1960's style hotel but kept up to date. Nice restaurant for breakfast (not included in the price of the hotel).

It seems to be like an old motel they wanted to upgrade to a hotel. The walls are paper thin. Everything looked in order, but it wasn't the cleanest room we've stayed in. The bathroom was a little dirty, the toilet looked like it hasn't seen a toilet brush in a while. The fridge and microwave are in the restroom...

Checked in at three, check in is at four so we are early. I am told that the style room that I booked was NOT available. I asked how is that possible because I was early. He did not know. Given a lesser room. The room was small, smelled and looked like motel 6 room. I called desk and told...

I picked Inn of the Hills based on TripAdvisor reviews and found it to meet all expectations. It is very clean, and had an excellent breakfast. I like the motel style rooms so I can park right outside the room, and not have to lug luggage very far. The pub was nice, although not really a pub, but a country...

This is a nice, older style motel with entrance to rooms directly from the parking lot. Our room was large and clean, and everything worked. The staff people were competent, though the man working the front desk could have been a little more personable. We would stay there again. The rate was very good.

We visited the Texas Hill Country on a weekend in late October and found the hotels in Fredericksburg were all fully booked. But Inn of the Hills was very comfortable and met our needs. It's not far from many of the Texas wineries and the Nimitz museum in Fredericksburg, the LBJ ranch, and many other regional attractions.

I am pretty selective about where we stay when we travel, whether for business or leisure. Kerrville is a beautiful spot in Texas, but, unfortunately, has no true 4-star hotels from which to choose. There are no elevators. The front desk staff can be curt and unapologetic. The rooms where "remodeled" a few years ago, but no amount of remodeling...

Wonderful updated and beautifully maintained 1960's era hotel and conference center sitting above the Guadalupe River near downtown Kerrville! Absolutely the very best place to stay for a night or more. Helpful staff. Beautiful grounds. But you are forewarned: there are no elevators. Only stairs to second floor rooms. We had room #178 which is a ground-floor handicap room with...

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the years and watched its condition and its prices go steadily downhill. It is now available on Priceline for cheap. It used to attract a nice crowd when the prices were higher, but it is now the Go-To hotel for the (mostly weekends and holidays) Harley Davidson crowd. Like other reviewers, we...

A sweet, little place with lots of character, but if you need a break, don't bother. No elevators, only a spiral staircase and if you have a lot of heavy things this is not the place. Also the bed is in a loft with more stairs! The loft is also warmer than the lower floor with no air which makes...
