I stayed here for 6 nights for work in Irving. I chose this property as I preferred an apartment style instead of hotel. On arrival I was met by Sonadenise who was absolutely delightful. After a long flight from London and arriving late she was a friendly face, incredibly warm and helpful providing all the information I needed for my stay.
I stayed in a block away from the main reception, word of warning - some rooms are on higher than ground floor level and lots of steps to navigate around the property. This is mostly fine, but on arrival/departure a lot of stairs to lift suitcases up and down.
The room itself was clean and well appointed. Beds really comfortable and had everything you would expect, the kitchen and draws were slightly warn but all in all great value for money.
Location of the hotel is hard if you don't have a car, so make sure you have transport available, but lots of availability of Uber etc.
Breakfast is served daily in the reception lounge, its fairly basic but good quality and a reasonable selection of options for a 3 star option. Staff throughout were courteous and helpful, but I do need to mention Sonadenise on reception in particular, I noticed her throughout helping guests. She has an exceptional nature about her that makes guests feel incredibly welcome and nothing was a trouble. Out of all the other staff I saw throughout my stay she by far exceeds expectations and knows what it takes to provide a warm level of customer service that set my stay apart - she is an asset to your team.

Great staff with good amenities. Evening socials were excellent and appreciated. The battery on the door died a couple of times, but staff handled it quickly and professionally. Breakfast had a good variety.

Not the best hotel. Restaurants were close by and walking distance. The front desk staff was exceptional. The condition of the room needs improvement. The room did not smell fresh and the tile on the bathroom floor was coming up.

I really enjoyed our stay. I booked mainly because of its location. The suite provided plenty of space with doors to close off the areas. This comes in handy when you have kids wanting to stay up and watch tv in the living area. I loved having the space of a living room and kitchen that was stocked with dishes. I would absolutely stay here again.

This Homewood Suites is a converted apartment complex. Rooms are remotely located in other buildings throughout the complex. Rooms are difficult to find. Because rooms are in different, remote buildings, internet/ wifi connection is VERY poor. As with most Hilton properties, the HVAC sysytem is old and in need of maint. My room would not cool. In my case, my room was just outside of a staircase one would find at apartment complexes. Guests decided to park themselves just outside of my room on the staircase to smoke. Lucky me!
Overall, whoever converted these apartments into "suites" did a very poor job. One must walk through a maze to find the building where your room is. Once at a building, they are poorly marked. Finding your room is difficult.
These problems are NOT local management fault. Staff is friendly. This is Hilton trying to turn a quick buck at the guest expense!

The air conditioning in my room was not working and was blowing hot air. My family, which includes a small child were literally sweating because it reached 80 degrees in the room while it was 68 outside. I called the front desk to have the customer service representative talk very rude on the phone “what do you want me to do about it. There’s no maintenance here, I have other customers checking in, and there are no other rooms.” I said that I needed something done because my children were sweating and he hung up on me. I walked inside and to the counter and he still argued that there’s nothing he could do for me. I asked him if we should all sleep outside because it was cooler, then proceeded to explain how it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any hotel, especially as a Hilton Honors Diamond member. After arguing for another 20+ minutes, the employee finally looked in the system and “magically” an exact room right above mine was available for me to move into. I returned to my room and gathered all my family’s belongings and moved into the new room, finally resolving the issue at almost 1am after an hour of trying to work with the employee. I will never stay at this particular hotel ever again, and have warned all my friends and family that travel through the area of the unprofessionalism at this specific location.

Nice place, rooms are a little dated but were clean and close to the highway. Getting to some of the rooms can be a walk and the breakfast area is not connected to all the rooms. Overall good experience since we didn't have time for breakfast and other facilities

I knew we were in trouble when the receptionist said the rooms were not inside. Let's start with the positive. Great staff and decent room. It's getting to the rooms that is so appalling. Dirty towels and garbage outside the rooms, holes in the walls that need fixing and dirt underneath kitchen sink. Breakfast need a lot of rethinking. You could tell they were cutting corners even with a full house. Never again will I allow someone to pick a hotel for me because it is close to the event. If this hotel want to do it's guest justice, close down sections at a time and make the Hilton brand proud.

Why is it the worst Homewood Suites I’ve ever stayed at? 1. The parking lots seems creepy and dark, especially as you walk through pathways to get to your bldg entrance. It doesn’t look like what you see in the pics online. 2. The hallways have old carpeting, poor lighting, and an old smell. (See photos) 3. The room had the same smell as the hallway, and the bathroom had problems. There was an unfixable drip from the bathtub, there was rust below the faucet, and they had the drain-stopper placed on the edge of the tub (never a good sign). Then a door was cracked open inside the small bathroom that showed a very dirty furnace, chlorinating tablets bucket, and old towels! (See photos) 4. Upon checking in I was told wifi was spotty from the rooms. Yes, the WiFi wasn’t working at all when I was there. 5. The "fitness room" is nothing more than a rectangular room with four pieces of cardio equipment, and hand weights that you'd use for an aerobics class. They have BATH MATS as sweat towels, and still have hanging up a broken exercise band. You have to go outside to get to the fitness room from any guest room. (See photos) 6. The breakfast area was serving brown and bruised bananas, which you have to go outside to get to from any guest room.

Very Poor accommodations for anyone with any physical challenges. Considers the fact that they have bars in a bathtub accessible. What good is that if you can’t even get in the tub. NONE of the rooms called “accessible” have a roll in shower OR Shower bench/Chair. Expect to drive around property to access room from office and for other amenities like fitness center and breakfast. None of the luggage carts were available at front desk, so expect to carry your luggage. Not representing Hilton Brand experienced at other locations or expected.
