Detailed Reviews
I stayed at the Westin in order to attend a concert at the Toyota Music Factory a block away from the hotel while the facility was sold out. Even with a full house, the staff were friendly & helpful, especially the porters Josh & Joe. Front desk check in was quick & easy-I did not have to wait in a line, the young attendant very pleasant & efficient. Valet services were speedy & simple, never had to wait more than a couple minutes for our vehicle. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. I loved walking into the lobby & smelling the pleasant scent permeating the building, it was quite refreshing. Maneuvering throughout the facility was a breeze, everything clearly marked & easy to locate. We did not eat at the hotel's restaurant but it was very modern & trendy looking, staff were always at the entrance ready to greet a guest. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 10 nights during the NLCS/World Series to watch our Dodgers win! We loved the location as we felt in the middle of all the central locations. The hotel is only 20 minutes from the stadium in Arlington, and close distance to Dallas and Fort Worth as well. It was very quiet due to COVID but there were some conferences going on. We didn't understand since it was so quiet why they put someone in the room next to us.. Being there for 10 nights is a long time to go only once for a full housekeeping and we keep things very tidy so everyday we had to call for supplies. Not a big deal, just something to get used to with the new rules. We really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is about a year old and still has that "new car smell." It's a beautiful hotel. The lobby, restaurants and guest room were extremely clean. The most impressive thing about the hotel was the customer service. The associates at the Westin were engaged from the valet, front desk, waiters and guest room attendants. The bar tender showed me and a friend how to make the perfect Old Fashion. (The secret is to take your time and do it right.) A co-worker of mine asked an employee where to get a Coca-Cola (Marriott brands only carry Pepsi) and with in the next 30 minutes she had a knock on the door and the person she spoke to went an bought her 2 Cokes and demanded no reimbursement.

After 30 years at another Dallas area hotel, the OU flagship hotel moved to this hotel for the annual OU/TX game . Hotel is new and very nice. James Kruger once again was a wonderful host. The BIG issue is nobody informed us the hotel rooms televisions were not broadcasting ABC due to a DISH network dispute with their provider . My wife is a breast cancer survivor and while she couldn’t actually attend the game , she remained in our well appointed suite over looking lake Catherine, to watch the OU /Texas game . While I was in the stadium , my wife called and told me the hotel wasn’t showing ABC programming. I didn’t believe it until I returned from the game and saw it myself . This hotel was THE flagship hotel and packed to the gills with OU fans and the game was not televised . I also realize labor is short so maybe that explains why rooms were only cleaned once every 3 days . I used my two coffees in my room the first day and then asked for more. After waiting for well over and hour I walked down to the desk and asked for coffee. I had two suites and two regular rooms and none had robes even though the literature in the rooms says to enjoy the luxurious robes. I called express service and they informed me robes are furnished upon request. The hotel location is fantastic being next door to the Toyota Music Factory and cafes and bars . I would stay at this hotel again . Location and bones are great but service needs vast improvement. Again, James Kruger/ Kruger Productions goes over the top to make sure his guests have a great trip.

Hello Craig232, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback regarding your experience as our guest. Although we are pleased you enjoyed the majority of your visit and would return, we regret any disappointment regarding some of our amenities not being available during your visit due to the current circumstances. In compliance with local legislation and current health authority guidance, we have reduced our services in our guests' and associates' best interests. This information is posted on our website, and we advise travelers to reach out to our hotel before their visit, as we are happy to inform them of what we currently offer. Please know these changes are temporary, and we look forward to reinstating our amenities and services as soon as possible. Additionally, we regret any disappointment regarding our television provider's dispute with their provider. While we cannot control the outcome of this, we apologize for any disappointment. Thank you once more. We hope to have the chance to welcome you and your wife back for a more seamless experience. Todd Winch General Manager

It’s the general managers position to oversee daily operations including but not limited to housekeeping, maintaining supplies, coordinating staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This Westin is not managed well, nor is it operating at the most basic level to meet customer needs.
On January 1st. the executive suite I reserved was not available until after 5pm, over two hours past check in. As a pathetic attempt at an apology, I was given a white paper bag with a bottled water, snickers, a post card and a note expressing the value of Marriott customers. That just added insult to injury. Let’s see, to make up for time lost on my anniversary, we are to be satisfied sharing a bottled water and snickers…sure that will make it right?
Then once in the room there is painters tape on one of the Televisions, the sofa is a mess, the table had food on it, as did one of the chairs, and the bathroom had no shampoo/body wash in the pumps. The soaking tub is also lacking the packets they normally have for a relaxing bath. The room has a hideous high pitch buzzing sound coming from the bathroom plumbing, and the room darkening shades are off track so that a nice slice of sunshine hits you directly in the face in the morning.
I really don’t enjoy cleaning, just to be able to sit down, and customers shouldn’t have to experience these issues.
The sink in the large bathroom wouldn’t drain, so that was disgusting. I looked under the sink to see that the drain was detached, so obviously plumbing hasn’t been checked on.
The elevators were filthy from new years, and not cleaned the 24hours I was there. I believe a vomit hand print was on one door.
The cleaning crew of only one man that I witnessed, on floor 12, obviously can’t keep up. They aren’t reporting issues to maintenance, aren’t cleaning as well as they should, and when they are reporting to maintenance, they leave behind unfinished work.
The coffee shop and restaurant were closed on Jan 2nd, for what I can only assume was understaffing. You advertise dining, then have it available.
The front desk staff is immature, irresponsible, and too busy watching videos on their cell phone's to be bothered with customer service.
This is the second time at this Westin, and both times we had similar issues. The GM is not doing their job. We offered this location an attempt at redemption, and it epically failed.
Marriott should find someone to run this location to standard operating levels before people start associating Westin as a 1 star hotel.
Customers should not have to point out these failures, because we shouldn’t be subjected to them.

We booked the Renewal Suite bc the app said living are was separate. But according to hotel, the King Executive suite has the separate living area, not renewal suite. They switched us at no charge, which was perfect bc we had the corner view with two solid walls of windows, with sheer and blackout roll down curtains. Absolutely perfect! The stand-alone soaking tub truly made the trip for me! It was so big and so relaxing! And the shower was amazing too! The bed was so comfortable, and the couch was surprisingly very comfortable too! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to take an online final for grad school when I got there (which was why I needed the separate living area), and they were so kind and encouraging. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. I traveled a lot for work over the past few years, and this was by far my most favorite hotel stay ever! The area is beautiful! So much to do, and so many options for food delivery with DoorDash if you want to just stay in. Great, safe community! Don’t second-guess it, just go ahead and book here! You won’t regret it!

My wife and I stayed in the hotel over Christmas while visiting family in the area. Overall, the hotel is a very comfortable place to stay, good for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are spacious, decorated beautifully, well furnished and with nice amenities, all at a 5 star level. The bathrooms are very elegant and functional. The hotel gym is well equipped, while the pool certainly looks nice (it was a bit too cold outside to try the pool). As nice as the hotel, what was really outstanding was the staff, who were uniformly friendly and helpful. I would particularly like to mention Nga, who served my family breakfast several times in the Mesa Mezcal restaurant. She was highly professional and enthusiastic about the restaurant and hotel, making our breakfast experience a real pleasure. The hotel is very conveniently located next to both the Irving Convention Center and the Toyota Music Factory complex, which has several good bars and restaurants.

I have stayed at this Westin a few times. First time wasn’t the best but have had a few great stays since then. Beautiful hotel and in a great location. Parking deck is behind the building and you will have to exit the hotel to get to the deck. Doesn’t offer everyday housekeeping which I find a bit strange since they don’t practice any other Covid restrictions. No mask requirements, no nothing. Not sure why they don’t do daily housekeeping. Also, the person who checked me in was noticeably frustrated because I kept asking questions about my room and views. In addition, not sure what water view means as they gave me a view of the pool although I paid extra for a view of something other than the restaurants next door and their pool. What I have never gotten over is the noise from the Music Factory. Thank goodness for DoorDash and their delivery service as I had to have earplugs delivered. No fault of the hotel, but be warned,on the weekends you can definitely hear the music.

Thank you for a perfect stay. All of the staff was wonderful. Bill, Tanya, Debbie, Joe, Vanessa, Lauren, and Maria in the restaurant. Make sure you eat the floutas! If you have a meeting at the Convention Center make sure you stay at this hotel it is directly accross the street. The best hotel closest to the convention center. The price is great, location is perfect. The staff took my box to the convention center, so I could set up my booth. The staff just goes above and beyond. I'm not sure if this is a new hotel or newly renovated everything was clean, fresh, and NICE. Home away from home!

I was in town for a convention. This is a wonderful new property. The staff was friendly enough. I was there for 5 nights. The housekeeping staff missed me one day. I think it was because whenever I am in the room I keep a DND on the door and I think they saw it early and never checked back. The restaurant seemed under staffed for the breakfasts on a couple of days of the convention.

Yes, all restaurants, bar, coffee counter closed. Room service does not come into room during stay. Had to request clean towel. Hotel does have a mini market with limited selection of toiletries, cold beverages (bottled water, sodas, beer) and snacks open by front desk, which is still open.
