I been meaning to write this wrote. I really appreciate the lobby floor, which caused an relaxing atmosphere and that I knew I can rewind. . Loft Style rooms ar cool. Bartender could have been a little more engaging. Short young girl from front office was very nice at check out. I will be back.

The shuttle service isn't operating, there's a not so gentle man who works at the counter who sleeps and when you wake him up he's not the friendliest. I, as well as the front desk clerk, had to call housekeeping multiple times to get our room cleaned, overall I just never felt comfortable. My fellow colleagues opted to change hotels after staying 1 night and ended up having a MUCH better experience less than 2 miles away. Not too mention at a lower price with more amenities. I love Hilton, this one in particular I will not be a returning guest.

This hotel has all the charm as a Gulag. The perfect place to visit if you love cold, dark and dreary accommodation. Who needs the comforting feel of carpet or paint, or working lights.
The decor is not up to everyones taste but the biggest issue is the horrible design. The bed is in the center of the room with the headboard facing the window. This creates issues. No way to easily look out the window. You have to be a yoga instructor to actually open and close the window shade, and the air unit is right next to your head and its super loud.
There is only one light switch to control all the lights, including the bathroom. This means you either have full lights on or are in pitch black.
The cold cement just feel like I am sleeping in a warehouse. But the wort problem is the the shower opens up to the rest of the room making the whole room damp. Also the exposed concrete shows tons of black mold not the thing you want to see in your hotel room.

Thank you so much for giving us a try here at NYLO Las Colinas Hotel. We certainly apologize that our loft-inspired design isn't necessarily your cup of tea. We do hear you on some of our room arrangements and are happy to report that we will be presenting our newly designed guestrooms beginning in March. And we assure you that the black patterns along the concrete are simply calcium deposits from the initial forming of the concrete and not mold.

NOTE: This is the first time I have ever left a review for a place, so there is definitely a reason for it.
I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend. From the pictures, it looks very nice but then inside it was smaller than we expected, especially the bathroom. The sink in a 'miniature' sink. It is so small that it is hard to wash your hands and it's extremely close to the wall/mirror making it hard to even brush your teeth and stand at the sink while looking into the mirror.
No glasses to drink from were provided so we ended up drinking our wine directly from the bottle. Fancy hotel, right?
After leaving, we realized that we had left an expensive piece of black lingerie behind in the white sheets as I had not realized she had left it there when I pulled the comforter back over to make the bed when leaving.
I called the hotel two days later when we had realized this. They said that housekeeping would give me a callback. After a week of not hearing from them, I called again, talking to the front desk again and they assured me that they would get back to me. Then again almost 10 days later I had to follow up. I left a voice message directly with housekeeping and never received a response.
Today, I finally called in for the FIFTH time since we stayed there. I asked directly for the general manager which quickly followed up with housekeeping only to inform me that nothing was found. He said that housekeeping claims that they called me and left me a voicemail after my second follow up call, which I never received.
KEY POINTS:
- It should not have taken two calls and over 10 days to receive a response from housekeeping (as they claim they did)
- It should not have taken me five calls over nearly a 30 day period to get a manager to finally give me a final answer
- It is very hard to believe that no one was able to locate a black piece of bodysuit lingerie (a very large piece of material) bundled up in white bedsheets after washing them
While the general manager was very nice about everything after the fact, I feel that there was much more they could have done to communicate and accommodate us for such poor customer service.

I know that the hotel will reply to this comment to tell me that it all depend on your taste!
I would simply recommend to avoid, as the whole concept of concrete without interior decoration is really bad, not environmental friendly and isolation is not possible and the heating and cooling system is extremely noisy. Impossible for me to sleep with that. If you switch if off, you end up in feeling cold too quickly.
You cannot walk bare foot and remember to keep you shoes or bring slippers.
Room lights are bad / poor and you cannot switch off lights from bedside.
I have travelling quite a lot and honestly difficult to recommend this hotel.

Yo ppl who leave bad reviews don't know taste. This is a loft style minimalist hotel room that is absolutely everything I love about the Tapestry collection. No gross carpet, just clean concrete, clean lines, clean designer bathroom fixtures, clean sleek bed, and an absolutely awesome desk area that makes you feel like an executive.
Breakfast was phenomenal for $16, like eggs, all the breads, oatmeal, and all the staff were really nice and eager to help. Also saw there is a hot tub outside steaming away WOW.
The bed was HUGE for a King and super super plush like it was way more than I expected tbh. Also Keurig ftw.
Look if you like grandma style furnishings then go find an Embassy Suites or something, this is not for you and that's ok. You're probably the person who spills things all over hotel rooms. I want this place to stay clean and vibrant for the next time I visit.
Also can we say a fully outfitted gym.
Breakfast was phenomenal for $16, like eggs, all the breads, oatmeal, and all the staff were really nice and eager to help. Also saw there is a hot tub outside steaming away WOW.

Diamond member benefits do not match with the Hilton Honors system and the hotel. When I opened the app, it shows “$12-15 food & beverage credit.” When I checked in the hotel, the front desk staff told me there is no food credit this hotel. I was so confused. Also, the shower head did not clean properly. I saw pinkish residue over the shower head. I disinfected it myself because I don’t want a house keeper in and out after I started using the room. The only reason I give at least 2 stars is for the service of the front desk staff. Other than that, I want to give 0 star.
