We stayed for 5 nights. Our room was very clean, which is extremely important to me. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The outlets on the headboard didn't work but the two on the lamp did. Since the sitting room was between the bedroom and the hallway, we didn't have to deal with noise in the hall. We could hear the freeway but that didn't bother me. It wasn't excessively loud. The staff was variable. Some were wrapped up in the computer... some had obvious issues with other employees. All were helpful when asked anything.
The restaurant... the lady remembered my drink. The food is delicious despite being overpriced. The ribeye was extremely tender. The burgers were excellent.
I was shocked that there is no complementary breakfast. Breakfast prices appeared to be worse than the dinner prices. We didn't get breakfast at the hotel as a result.
There was a regular thermostat in our room and it worked perfectly. There was no noisy unit below the window that ices you out so I was thrilled with that. Please keep the old fashioned thermostat!
We would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed 2 nights while visiting the University of Dallas nearby (the Univ. paid, so cannot comment on value-for-money. I suspect that US mainstream hotels operate in a very efficient market where, pretty much, what you get is what you pay for). The hotel was in all respects fine: spacious clean room; everything (plumbing, TV, wi-fi) worked; good breakfast (included); efficient staff. One plus: a good indoor pool, so it was possible to swim in February. Some parts of the hotel look a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint. But overall, fine.

The room I stayed in first clearly needs a refresh of the carpet. After I hurt my foot on something I complained and was given a new room that clearly had a newer carpet.
The stairway had some plastic shards and a long string of fabric on it so I mentioned it twice at reception. That dirt was not removed in the 5 days that I stayed after mentioning it the first time.
Service personnel was great at bar and breakfast.
For American standards the breakfast is good with eggs made to order.
Swimmingpool had very loud ventilation, granted it was 100F so it was working at full blast.
Location provides good access to walks/runs along lake Carolyn and Mandalay Canal and it’s easy to get on or off 114 in either direction.

We frequently use Holiday Inn Express for travel as we like consistency. This hotel was terrible. The workout room had NO ventilation, NO Water and NO AC. Black mold was growing on the ceiling. When we asked the front desk what was going on we were brushed off. Clearly they knew, and had no plan to fix it. While the lobby is nice the rest of the place needs a big update. The stairwell had banisters laying on the floors waiting to be replaced. This hotel has clearly been patched together and painted over. Our room was dark as one wall was painted dark red and multiple lightbulbs were not working. The faucet in the bathtub was loose and not connected to the shower wall; shower wall tiles were old and messily caulked. Breakfast was an extra $15.00/person. On the positive side, beds were comfortable and linen was clean. The rooms are serviced every THIRD DAY. (Notified of this as we checked out.) Front desk staff were securely glued in their seats, staring at their screens. The level of apathy was palpable-no one cared, they were just collecting their paycheck. This place needs to be fixed up, and the staff needs a lot of hospitality training. Next time we are in the area we will not be staying here.

Horrible! Stay far away! This hotel hasn’t been updated in years and the rooms are not clean. I was bitten by an ant while sitting on a chair in the room and several ants appeared in the sink. The person working at the front desk became irritated when I questioned a charge on my bill. This place needs new Management!

We visited Dallas for Memorial Day weekend. Upon our arrival on Friday, May 26 we were put in room 356. When we entered the room the AC was on but it was very warm and smelled kind of like a basement. We turned the temperature down to about 68 to cool the room. We left to visit family in the area and returned about 10PM (7 hours later). When we opened the door the room smelled worse. It smelled very moldy. At this point my wife was irate and she went down to the front desk to complain. She spoke to Tynesha. Tynesha was the absolute nicest person, she advised my wife that she would check on the issue and try to get us another room. 10 minutes after my wife spoke to her, Tynesha called and asked us to meet her at Room 205. To our delight, room 205 was perfect and Tynesha assigned us to that room for the remainder of our trip. We stayed until Tuesday, May 30 with no further issues. Tynesha turned a potentially bad situation into a great weekend in Dallas. Extra big THANK YOU to Tynesha. The entire staff was very nice including the bartender on duty on Sunday, May 28.

Stayed here for a night and don't have much negative to say about it. Holiday Inn's are very consistent to me, so I was pleased to get this property after purchasing it via Priceline. Got a great rate. Wasn't as comfortable as a different Holiday Inn I stayed at the next night, but again, it was a one night stay and did just fine for me.

I was a destressed passenger and United Airlines paid for a room for one night. I gave the receptionist the code and I was still charged on my credit card and NEVER got reimbursed. So I am fighting with this hotel and my bank to get my refund.

Recently I and another member of my family stayed at the Holiday Inn in Las Colinas. I think it's a great place but am especially impressed with their wonderful kitchen Chef, Saul Guzman. He has been at the Holiday Inn cooking great food for 18 years! I highly recommend the Holiday Inn just because of the breakfast if nothing else!

Booked this online through a "Name Your Price" website. Won't do THAT again. It seems that we get hotels that are in need of renovation, or are presently going through one.
Dirty beds in the hallway, splotched paint on walls. Bathroom had toothpaste splatters that weren't cleaned up. Wallpaper on floor boards in hallway were all ripped up. Looks like this hotel is trying to do a cheap, fast renovation.
The worst part of my stay was when I checked in, the woman took a long time to get to me and when she did, she gave me keys to a room already occupied by a man. I walked into his room unexpectingly. Do you know how embarrassing and possibly dangerous that mistake was? I was really quite taken aback, until I went back to the front desk to tell them what they had done, and then, became incredulous when there wasn't any type of apology forthcoming. They looke at me as if it was my fault, somehow, that I unlocked and went into a stranger's room. Both girl's at check-in seemed pretty apathetic.
I've got another two night's here, but will be making sure I let everyone know to stay somewhere else. There's plenty of places in Dallas to lay your head.

We are a full service Holiday Inn. Our opening date was December 22,2016.
We currently have around 3 to 4 weeks left. We want our travelers to love our "Home Away from Home". We are trying to make sure that our guests have all the everyday conveniences that they require and love.
I am sorry the DFW airport is a little bit further than we can go with our shuttle. However, we do offer
a shuttle for local business drop offs and pick ups.
