Mayookkham Resort is a nice place to stay for a day or two. Come in groups to enjoy. Get forest side rooms for better view. Rooms are clean and well managed. Have big adjacent balcony. Staffs are well behaved...food is decent. Have a small park for kids. We faced problem with wifi connection...outside the cottage we received strong signal but not inside the room. Also please carry different sims for your phone. Airtel didn't connect at all. Nearest petrol pump is 18kms away so is the nearest town.

We picked Mayookham as our place of stay since our regular homestay in Wayanad was not available. This is a relatively new property, very close to the Thirunelly temple. The rooms are large and spacious and the views from the balconies are very relaxing. The food served in the restaurant is good and homely. The staff try to be helpful and Biju in particular, was very supportive. I hope the property will remain clean and well maintained and will also maintain their standards of service. People come to Wayanad for different reasons, wildlife being one of the main ones. It would be good if Mayookham could make arrangements for access to safaris and forest visits using local resources and guides. I spent a lot of time in the balcony, watching a variety of birds that visited the area - so it has some plus points that need to be worked upon, if the management is interested.…

I would like to say please think 100 times before you make your booking at this resort We visited this resort with our family, a group of 8 people. We got to know about the Mayookham resort via online portal. We really liked the place from the photos present at the website. We contacted the manager and got our booking done with the said advance. We have transferred the amount immediately without any delay. The main attraction to the place was to visit Nagarhole Nation Forest, the manager said he will be arranging everything and do the booking on our behalf. First we were told that per person for the safari would be 1600/- per person we immediately transferred 12800/-. Then we were told that the prices have increased to 2242/-, we again transferred the remaining amount, which comes to total of 17936/- approx. of 18k. All said and done we arrived at the resort with only our double vaccinated certificate as informed by the manager nothing else required. The day of our SAFARI the jeep driver who was taking us to the Safari pick up point he was asking for Negative RTPCR, we were shocked as we were not informed and at that hour(5am) from where will we do the test. However, we started out ride and then we were stopped at a police Checked post where were not allowed to beyond that point without a negative report. We were stranded early in the morning with our entire family dealing with the Police with so much hazard because we were not informed about the norms. We were told RTPCR not required. After dealing with the police for more than 2hrs we had to come back with a heavy heart without seeing the safari for which we were there. I would like to inform all the readers who will go through the post please do not trust the staff working there and their sugar coated words. They will say they will manage everything for you, but NO that is a bluff. The sole responsibility was taken care by the resort manager/staff for the booking and everything and he did not pass on the right information for his mistake we wasted 18k of our hard earned money and the complete trip was wasted. Please Note: We did not keep a single penny pending for the resort. We were told they will arrange the refund as it was a private safari and they know each other, now after 2weeks from the visit did I not receive any update and to top it all they are not even receiving our call. I would like to ask WHAT THE HELL is this????, is this the way you deal with your guest promising something and not delivering what we paid for????? I would never recommend anyone to visit this resort of trust their fancy flowery words.…

The resort was very good with a great ambience. Fresh and tasty food. The staff was friendly and courteous . Spacious rooms with excellent balcony view . It is very close to the Thirunelli temple. Overall , it was a very comfortable stay.

We stayed tr for a day.. its was too good .. loved the place n food .. special mention to Biju who took care of everything for us .. .. must visit is a nearby small river n tirunelli temple !! Its near to nagarhole national park

Mayookham has very Courteous staff. These guys made us feel at home. I think this is what matters the most when you travel with family. The location is of prime importance. They are located in the middle of the Mesmerising hills of Wayanad. Words are not enough to describe their Professional and courtesy. My family loved this day. Serenity Is the word to describe this place. Thank you for making us feel at home.

This is one of best resorts for who thinks high class facilities in low budjet in waynad thirunelli. Staff is very friendly.And Mr biju is very good experienced person how to behave with guest. Rooms are 5 star facilities.food also very tastee. Cook also good person he understand guest expectations. Staff attend immediately guest request. We see lot of elephant on road and we site a tiger at 8. 45 PM near police station . I suggest all guest go to thirunelli temple utilise options Mayookam resorts give a chance stay in low budjet in 5 star accomidation

A nice, quiet, relaxing place. Very near to the temple. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Food was excellent even though the options were less. Above all the service was up to the mark. The manager, Mr. Bimal was there anytime at your service and he made sure we had a good stay. His staffs were the same too. A swimming pool was missing. Also the recreational activities could be maintained better.
