Situated in a place called Tirunelly, Agraharam cottages is one of the quietest places to stay. And it's a must visit. It's most serene. It is situated overlooking the mountains. Vast and spacious. Rooms are clean. But a little old fashioned.Never mind that because the beauty of nature, the silence of the place , the food, the amenities , everything...

The road that goes from Mysore to Thirunelly is beautiful - few potholes and some irritating humps, especially in the wildlife sanctuary stretch. The journey was wonderful. Agraharam cottages are spread around - not densely packed and some greenery between them - enough space to sit outside and hang around in the resort. It was a weekday and few cottages...

Had a nice time at the cottage. Visit was mainly to the Thirunelli Temple Was here for a day. The greenery around amidst nice weather and hospitable staff. Will surely visit next time. Rooms need to have little earthy touch. Bfast and lunch served was also good. The property surely is full of greenery. Worth a stroll early morning.

Really close calls one can expect if you have the gall to venture on a night drive back down the hill that winds up to the resort through...

An enjoyable place for a nature lover with a taste for simplicity. I stayed in the west-side single suite of Himagiri homes with my family on 10th November 2014. Though the purpose was temple visit, it turned out to be a sort of picnic as well, just because we stayed there. I would surely recommend this place to friends. Pros-...
