Marriott Houston Beautiful hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, even room close to elevator was exceptionally quiet. Staff was awesome, Jaleel at the valet was friendly and helpful, always took the time to offer directions and assist in loading and unloading vehicles. Maricella & Rosie in restaurant area we’re efficient, pleasant and helpful. Hotel is located in the heart of the medical center. There is a restaurant and bar on property, and a few places in the area that are walking distance to eat or drink. Nice indoor pool with outdoor seating area. Large fitness room. A very short drive to Rice University or NRG stadium. The tram runs right in front of the hotel. Parking is $36.00 night for valet, self park varies as to the amount of time you stay with maximum of $13.00, but there is no in and out, you pay each time you leave. Parking is attached to building and a short distance to lobby. Loved this hotel will defiantly stay again when back in Houston area.…
My husband and I are unfortunately needing to make frequent visits to Houston because he's being treated for Lymphoma at MD Anderson. We are about a 5 minute walk to the medical center which is perfect. We're also less then a mile from the Museum of Natural Science and The Planetarium. (Something to do in our downtime). The transit stop is right outside the front door. We plan on checking out the map to see where it goes. And the staff, they are awesome. Everyone has been truly very friendly and helpful. They make you feel like you're right at home. We love Tess. She's at the front desk and she takes care of you while you're in the Concierge Lounge. A Very sweet and attentive young lady. The rooms are clean and the bedding is quite comfy!!! Would definitely recommend this Marriott!!…
Great service, and everyone was so nice. We were there to take my mother to MD Andersen. They all went out of their way to make our trip as easy as possible. Especially Maraceli in the M Club! She went out of her way to box up snacks, and breakfast to take upstairs. She was so friendly and kind. Great job! We will definitely stay again.
While in Houston receiving cancer therapy, my husband and I love to stay at this location because we walk across the skybridge to get to his appointments. Nathaniel is our “go to” for information and guest services with 25 yrs of service at this hotel chain. Remarkable record these days He takes great pride in providing services to the guests. He also offers friendly suggestions for dining and shopping and absolutely makes you feel right at home! He rocks and deserves a shout out. Thanks for making our stay so pleasurable!
Every business needs “a Maraceli” She has waited on us twice on our trips to Houston for Drs appointments. She always has a smile and makes people feel at home and cared for. People who care about other people truly make the world a better place
It is absolutely a delight to have the M Club back in this hotel! The breakfasts are wonderful including access to the full buffet in the regular restaurant. The M Club Lounge space is huge and open for drinks and snacks 24 hours. The chef/Cook is great and presents unique goodies every night Sunday to Thursday and then fantastic deserts. We have stayed here 10 days so far and the evening food pretty much is different every night and it is enough to not go out and eat. Maraceli deserves special mention for her great M Club Lounge Service! Also, of note in the hotel is a well equiped exercise room and a nice indoor pool with a large fully jetted hot tube! Rooms are very nice with big screen TV's. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service which will take you to all the museums and hospitals in the area of which there are many. Also, to many great restaurants. This can save you tons of money on rental cars which are very expensive in Houston!…
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, easy access right across the street from Methodist Houston. Clean rooms, nice bathroom and shower. Our server Tenia Guidry was absolutely amazing. Sweet girl that was very attentive and efficient. Amazing young lady!
Such a nice hotel to stay in when I’m down here visiting my dad at the Methodist. The hotel is very clean and staff is friendly and personable. Ms Tenia Guidry at the cafe is such a wonderful server. -lacey-
Arriving for medical reasons is never perceived to be a well gracious trip; however the from the in-room services to the M-lounge were beyond wonderful and caring in my families time of need. I can’t recommend a better hotel. Ps, shout out to a wonderful Woman, Maraceli.
I spent 5 days here for work and visited the M lounge daily. Maraceli was truly a gem and provided excellent customer service all week. My last morning the lounge was pretty quiet and I had a very nice conversation with Maraceli. She represents the company well and makes guests feel welcome like family.
