This hotel was our first stay on our vacation. The hotel was very clean and had a good breakfast. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and then utilized their parking and shuttle service to the airport. Martin the shuttle driver was awesome!!! He was very courteous and informative. My children were excited to see him when we came back and were picked up by him at the airport.
I reserved 2 hotel rooms for June 17th-19th at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Hobby Airport at 8776 Airport Blvd. Houston, Tx. 77061. My children were moved out around 12:30am. on our second night there because my son saw several roaches crawling around the nightstand and tv cabinet when he turned on the lamp to go to the restroom. I immediately contacted the front desk and was told that they would try and move them to another room and they would call me back but they never did so I had to go to the front desk to find out what was going to be done after all. A guy in the front desk told me that I could just leave if I wanted to and that I would only get a partial refund if I did I was floored by his response by this time it was almost 1:15am. and I had my three children with me where the hell did he expect me to spend the night or get a reservation at that time or maybe sleep in our car. So they did end up moving my kids to another room on another floor which I immediately inspected myself to make sure we didn’t come across the same problem we did find a dead roach in the sofa sleeper. That just let me know that they have a roach problem all over the hotel. I then went back to my kids initial room just get some proof with my phone and took a look around and was stunned at how many roaches I saw, I took several pictures and a video to show how bad it was. It was disgusting my children had already stayed in there the night before but since we went to bed early that night they didn’t notice anything. They had some leftover snacks and drinks and we had to throw everything away. It was upsetting to have to go through all of their things at that time of night and make sure that no roaches had gotten inside of their luggage or bags so none would come back home in their things. We checked out first thing the next morning. On Monday I called the manager and I asked for a full refund for both days but the manager refused to refund me basically saying it was our fault for not reporting it the night before, like hello we came into what we thought was a clean decent hotel we would have never imagined this place was infested with roaches. My family lost hours of rest and sleep for the next day because of dealing with this situation that night, our peace of mind was taken away and a pleasant stay as we had envisioned for a month. I absolutely do not recommend this disgusting hotel. I went by what the reviews said and thought this place would be nice to stay at but I was wrong. I added my video and the pictures I took. I was at ease as soon as I stepped into my room. It was very clean , check in was simple , they had everything I needed and their was a chick flick marathon on tv. The gentleman at the front printed me restaurant ideas and I ordered food, relaxed by the pool and then enjoyed a warm shower ( the water pressure is amazing also) . Long story short I will definitely pick LQ at my next hotel stay. 10/10 recommend !
Most of the staff was at least cordial, but none was friendly. The front desk lady was actually very rude and chastised me for talking around the plexi-glass at the counter, because I could not hear her talking. Started telling me all about COVID, as if I had not already had it three times and been vaccinated 3 times!!! Even though she WAS NOT wearing a mask and I might add neither was any member of the staff at the hotel, nor was any other person at all, including customers and guest. This woman will cost you business in the future and will cost you my business. ON another note there seemed to be a family disturbance on the 3rd floor about half of the nigh that continued until I shouted at the family to SHUT UP!!!!!
I am disabled and require a wheelchair friendly room. On the way to Jamaica, I was given room 116. It met all my needs, it was clean and pleasant. But was VERY loud. Upon departure, I told the lady at the desk that in 4 days we would be back and could I have another handicapped room. She told me she would make a note of it. Upon our return, at check in, the lady told me I had a different room. Explained it was still by the elevator, that wasn't all the noise, and that there were kids above us, and a tub not a walk in. It was 216. We went ahead and took it. Not only was it clean and pleasant, but it was very quiet. We did not hear the people above us, elevator noise or any hallway noise. I was so impressed but how easy it was and how much they cared to go over what it had, location, etc.…
This hotel will shuttle you from the rental car area to the hotel in 5 minutes. The shuttle will take you to the airport in 5 minutes as well. Very helpful staff!! Clean and comfortable!! A great choice for convenience!
This is a very nice hotel that is close to hobby airport in Houston Texas. It has a shuttle to the airport. The rooms are clean and quite. This is our preferred hotel when we fly out of hobby airport.
good hotel ,quite clean, good location, helpful friendly staff, very good security The only problem i experience was access to hotel from highway , needed to make a U-turn.I recommend this hotel highly
Horrible. No hot water for over 12 hours yet they still accepted guests and took our money. Libby was leaking water and so they put a trash can I set it to capture water. No concessions, no concerns. Yuck
Great place to stay. Staff was very helpful. Would stay again when in the area. Hope to return again soon. The hotel workers very friendly everything Went very smoothly. will come back again very quiet and peaceful to work.
