We wanted to be within close proximity to the Johnson Space Center but didn't want to spend alot of money. I didn't expect much. However the beds and pillows were sufficient and comfortable. I asked for a first floor room and he told me that the air had been off for awhile in that room but the second floor rooms were nice and cool. We got in the room... Kicked the air on high... And went to eat to allow time for the room to cool. The room had a decent sized fridge and microwave. The staff was very nice. It seemed to be family owned. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of variety for breakfast. I know it was free continental breakfast but it was prewrapped pastries... Cereal... And coffee. Other than that I was OK with everything else.

For the price you can't beat it!!!!! Clean regular hotel room.....no noise.... Near hobby airport.... Anybody on a budget this is a perfect hotel.... Its alot of nicer hotels in the area but at the price i stayed for its a great value!!!!!!

Very convenient given that it is about 5 minutes from the airport. The rooms were clean and the price was the best I found for being so close to the airport. The staff were very accommodating as well.

This place was perfect for my work trip because it was close to the airport and only about a ~15 minute drive into downtown. The staff were incredibly friendly and they kindly gave me a quiet room that I requested. More importantly, the room was clean. Would stay here again.

Where to start? The wifi didn't work, the tv/cable didn't work, the towels were small and scratchy. Location was shady. At 90 dollars, this place was not the best value, especially not for what we got.

The room had stains on the carpet which wasn't a big deal, but in the bed there was stains on the sheets and other people's hair on the bed. When I pulled off the top comforter there was a wrapper for some medicine, the kind you just tear the corner off and pull back. So clearly the bed and sheets and that weren't clean and it was disgusting. Shower curtain had a little bit of mold on the bottom of it where it touches the tub, once again that's gross. Lastly, I spent most of the night killing gnats that kept flying around the room, which was not only annoying but disgusting as well. ONLY reason why I gave it a 2 star was because the staff upon check in were very welcoming and friendly, that's all the place has going for it. I lucked out and only was there for 1 night, but I will NEVER recommend ABV to anyone and will NEVER stay in another one regardless the city I'm traveling to. If you stay here good luck. …

The room was clean, but shabby. The easy chair & carpet had some stains. Had problems with the overheads lights not always coming on. The bathtub was clean, but had mildew around the calking. The water was nice and hot. The breakfast consisted of a tiny pot of coffee and wrapped danish, but there are restaurants in the area, so I enjoyed some great Mexican breakfasts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Gulf Freeway was noisy so I requested a room in the back and it was very quiet.

I was surprised how clean the room and the exterior was. I didn't expect much from a budget hotel but it seems like this one has been kept well. Flat screen TV, Very strong Internet, Very well lit Parking and very close to the airport are the plus points. Not too far from the beach either.

This room was not booked by my self, but rather my spouse for a surprise four day/three night birthday weekend. Upon arrival I was disappointed with parking and then the room itself smelled moldy. The bathroom door would not close (it had been shaved in an attempt to rectify this), the bathtub was dirty, and the carpet always felt damp. While the rest of the trip was great, all the stay here did was wreak havoc on my sinuses and drain my wallet. We will never try to skimp on a room again!
