Stayed at the Blossom based on TripAdvisor reviews and have to say, the reviews are on point. The hotel is beautiful and new. Beds were comfy, towels were plush, toiletries were high quality. The pool is small but cute. Note that it gets lots of shade in the afternoon so it wasn’t particularly warm when out of the sun. Also it’s basically unstaffed so at times there were no towels. And when guests just left their towels everywhere and messed with the cushions it stayed that way for hours unless you cleaned up after them. Pool allegedly closed at 10 but twice when I was up there for laundry folks were on pool deck and even in pool. Not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. As far as laundry: that was a huge plus for us. We were visiting four different cities in Texas and having free laundry with new, wonderful machines was a great perk. This hotel would have been five stars IF restaurant was open (and good) but, as others have noted, it isn’t (so I don’t know if it’s good or not). I also agree with others that it would be great if the bar was open later. There’s nothing really within walking distance so it makes eating a drinking a bit of a hassle. One night we had amazing food delivered and the other night we hit an Astros game so at least the inconvenience was limited for us. Staff were friendly to a fault but some were very knowledgeable about Houston and others were really not. Location ended up being good for us because it was close to Rice and the museums, even though you kind of feel far away from anything that isn’t a hospital when you are there. One final note: my daughter and I are convinced they pump fragrance into the lobby and hallways. This may be a personal preference but we did not find this appealing at all. Especially when we were in lobby eating snacks and having a drink.…
We did a suite with 2 queen beds! It was like a 1 bedroom apt! Huge, beautiful decorated and would have been 3x the price at other hotels for this much space! I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities!
Hotel was great, staff was nice, considering the small price difference between it and the other hotels near NRG stadium. I would've given 5 stars, but when I called to verify my truck would fit in the parking garage, the staff couldn't answer that simple question. So took my wifes car instead. Apon arrival THE HEIGHT CLEARANCE IS 7'11" on the first level. This was a simple normal question especially for texas the hotel staff should've been able answer!
Tasho, Aaliyah and Annie have been a wonderful customer facing staff and I feel they should be award for their efficient at the end of the year. I am impressed with the treatment I got from them as they encourage me make a booking. They’re so professional and amazing.
All the amenities and more of a 5 star property. Gracious staff, immaculate room and common areas, courtesy car and driver for 3 mile radius of the hotel, glistening roof top pool. Out biggest concern about staying at the hotel was "Food". There is no hotel "restaurant". But there is a staffed kitchen with a menu for three meals that can be served in your room or in the bar/lobby. We never left the hotel to eat. The food that was prepared was 5 star as well. Try the Chili Wonton appetizer and the Shrimp and Grits entree. You will not be disappointed.
Upon arriving we were greeted by all staff we passed with a smile . Tamika has been great ! Honestly a sweetheart and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay ! Went down to the bar and Michelle was awesome ! She made great recommendations for what is popular around town and things to do she was also a sweetheart . Stay has definitely been a 10/10 as far as cleanliness , visual & accommodations.
We have stayed in MD Anderson Area hotels plenty of times pre-covid. Value wise, the hotels we stayed were similar to Blossom, however, the quality difference is tremendous! First, when you walk in, the hotel is extremely spacious. Second, when you check into your room, the light features are beautiful, the mirror is elegant. Third, when you walk into the shower, you have choice of handheld and ceiling showerhead. The ceiling shower is at least 8 inches big. Fourth, when you lie on bed, the mattress is so comfortably sturdy and thick, you don't feel a thing when your partner moves! Fifth, the towels and the room are like brand new! We stayed only one night, but we'll definitely come back on next trip! E.R. Austin
This hotel has so much potential. It is truly one of the most beautiful hotels in Houston. The lobby and rooms are gorgeous. The rooms have Dyson hair dryers and anti-fog mirrors. It has some sweet amenities, but that is about where the good ends. The service at the Blossom is sub-par for what you'd expect at a property of this sort. To start with, when we arrived, there was no valet. We had to stand in the garage and wait for him for about 10 minutes. Later that night, when we returned from dinner, the same valet was at the front desk chatting while we, again, waited. The second night of our stay, when we came back, the valet just stood at the valet stand when we arrived and never even acknowledged that we were there. The other issue I had was the front desk clerk, that spoke no English or Spanish. I went down to ask if there was a vending machine because the bar was closed, and there were no convenience stores in the area. He had no idea what I was asking him. The following night, the same desk clerk, I tried to book a room for a future stay, and he, again, had no clue what I was asking. On the final morning of our stay, I went down to the front desk to ask to book a room for the future stay, and in her best RBF face, the clerk told me they couldn't help me and that if I wanted to book a room, to go to their website. No effort to check or even help. I am trying so hard to like this hotel because it is so beautiful and plush, AND because it is so close to NRG Stadium, which makes it convenient too. Sad to say that the service brought what would have been a 5 Star Review down to a 3 (at best).…
This was my first time in Houston and I definitely will be back to stay at the Blossom Hotel. Staff welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Beautiful and serene and also very clean hotel. I will recommend to family and friends.
When I walked in for checked in I was in awe of the entrance of the hotel, then I was greeted by kind attentive hotel host. The rooms were clean, aesthetic, and fresh. I highly recommend this hotel ..
