Last minute visit to Houston for an family emergency and this place was great for the price. My room was clean and freindly staff. Only bad thing the restaurant/bar won’t open till later this month so you must pick up found when your out. Also you have to leave to drive up gulfway to pick up food because nothing is walking distance really but a bbq restaurant and gas station but too hot for that. Not much to do that’s close to hotel but I would stay again for a quick drop in for an emergency.
Vanessa is super fantastic. Took care of all my needs. She is a great asset of this hotel. Also encountered Aaron, cool dude. The rooms are extremely comfy and clean. Will come back to this property. Would love to have the bar open so I can chill in the lobby.
Hotel is in rough condition. Marriott should be ashamed. Room and hotel in poor condition. Had to switch rooms. First room dirt all over floor. Apathetic staff. Restaurant not in operation. No breakfast options. Looks like they are trying to upgrade but brutal right now.
Flew in late to Houston-Hobby. We arrived around 10PM. Hotel clerk was non-speaking and cold and indifferent. Didn’t welcome us. Didn’t say anything. Took our last name and handed us our keys. And we asked about breakfast and she said they don’t do breakfast. The hotel should have that posted on their website. They hide behind Covid rules but if restaurant has been closed for a year then update the website. We stayed here because Four Points gives breakfast to Marriott Elite Members. Next time I fly into Hobby, I will stay someplace else.
Had a great time, love the improvements and the 24 hour security on the weekend, especially the new management team.Travis is Awesome he provided great service to me and my family. You don’t see front desk people like that anymore truly a character and I love every bit of it. He made my stay memorable. I will be returning. Highly recommend.
I booked on the BonVoy app because it was a good price for a short over night with shuttle to Houston Hobby Airport. Upon arrival I learned they shut the shuttle down last year when covid started. The front desk agent said to me, “we are in the middle of a pandemic.” As if I was an idiot. I showed her where they advertise the shuttle and she called owner or manager and he agreed to Uber me to the airport. This is the reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of three. I appreciate them standing behind their advertising. My room was very clean but I’m not a fan of the laminate floors in a hotel room because it made the room have hard/cold feel with an echo, not a cozy feeling. Two small items that really leave a big impact to me were extremely small and rough towels, (I mean really small) and no cream provided with the coffee machine in the room. I assumed this was a mistake so I called down to the front desk and was told I had to bring a cup down to get my own cream. I didn’t really want to do that in my PJ’s so I just got dressed and left. Unfortunately, I had already started making coffee before I noticed there was no cream so it was wasted. The devil is in the details!!…
We had to stay here because it was close to the airport. There were updated parts of the hotel and room and old parts. The floor in the room was good because it was a vinyl flooring not old carpeting like the hallways. The bed was relatively comfortable but the pillows were so flat that you had to use two and your head still hit sank down to the mattress. Bathroom was clean and large. There is a microwave and fridge. Lobby was very muddy along with hallway to elevator. But they were cleaning that in the morning. One elevator so difficult with social distancing.
Cool hotel by the airport. Staff very nice at check in. Bed was SUPER comfortable. Room very clean and spotless. Good made-to-order breakfast. This is also a bar. Good spot to use if you're coming or going to the airport. By the highway for quick access to downtown. Will be back.
Had an early flight out of Hobby the next morning and stayed at 4 Points. I don't think the hotel lived up to the Sheraton reputation, but it wasn't horrible. For the price, the room was okay but a bit worn. However, the service was fast and friendly. You are minutes away from Hobby airport.
We stayed (4) days at this hotel. I never put the sign on the door and house keeping didn’t bother to check on us. We needed trash bags daily and what about clean sheets after atleast (2) days of stay??? We were out of towels after day (1). I had to contact the front desk daily to retrieve items and we had to pick them up. It was (1) time that they had Security bring us trash bags. I’ve never been at a hotel where housekeeping don’t knock on your door to see if you need anything. Only st this location!!!! Horrible service. It was so bad I sent a reply back from an email I received after our stay which was forested to a few other individuals who never contacted us. I see we didn’t matter as they already received our money. As I’ve stated in the email...we won’t return. Also, the incidental fee is $75 per night you stay and they collect each time that amount. That is ridiculous and unheard of.…
