Ghetto & extremely unprofessional black lady . As soon as she seen my bi racial infant child, she immediately changed and acted as if we were cousins . Please make staff diverse . Very embarrassing . Basically , I over heard her laughing with another staff member about my questions and made me very shamed to come back. Simple but very effective strategy . Hope this doesn’t ruin your experience but I at least had to be honest

I am a Titanium Elite Bonvoy Member to give an honest perspective here. I had booked this hotel for a full week in Houston. This is one of the newer looking Fairfields. After checking in, i began to notice what disarray this hotel has fallen into. Letters from the signage around the hotel are missing, caps that cover the digital locks are missing on some doors. Maintenance at this hotel is obviously on the back-burner. When I got into my hotel room, I was unable to access the hotel internet. I’m savvy with tech, and no matter what I did I could not connect. First time ever in a Marriott. Okay. No biggie, I’m not that hard to please, it was just unusual for what I’ve come to expect at these properties. Then I went into the bathroom to finish up for bed. The water trickles out of the faucet. A very small stream of water. Wow. Okay. Went to bed, woke up in the morning and my face is completely swollen. Again, what’s happening here? Are the sheets not being rinsed well in the wash? Something caused me to swell up. Again, first time ever in a hotel. I need to shower to help my face get over this swelling. I jump in the shower, get all wet, reach over for the shampoo pump system that’s on the wall - it’s completely empty. Of course it is. At least I’ll be able to wash my body. Grab a hand cloth, start pumping the body wash…. Yep. Empty too. Look on the counter for more soap options - they have the bar soap for your hands. I use this, get cleaned up without shampoo. Get dressed and pack up. I left after one night. Told the guy at the front desk and he apologized. On another note, they have replaced the morning breakfast with high tech vending machines. All of our breakfast options are grab and go now in cellophane packaging. Okay Marriott I see where you’re going here and I’m not impressed. It’s obvious that whoever is running this place doesn’t care. Left such a bad taste for where Marriott is heading I ended up staying in Hiltons the rest of the week. Guess what? They all still have full breakfasts too. I’m honestly rethinking my allegiance to Marriott.

Hello swingkat75, thank you for being a Titanium Elite Bonvoy Member and for providing your feedback. We are so sorry that you experienced all of these issues during your stay and we understand how frustrating that must have been. As the new General Manager starting today 1-24-22, I will have maintenance look into the issues you discussed with your room as well as any potential laundry issues. Spent Memorial Day 2021 weekend here. It was a nice hotel. Located about 15-20 minutes from Downtown Houston and Minute Maid Park + Toyota Center. Masks are no longer required for customers but staff was wearing them for the most part. Although some covid restrictions were lifted, a few are still in place as of May 2021. The breakfasts are still “to go” and when we were there was only things like wrapped muffins and rolls, etc. Housekeeping still can only come if requested. I imagine as the country continues to open back up to full capacity these protocols will be lifted but it didn’t bother me that they were still in place. The room was nice. The air condition worked well and the fan blew strong. Always good to have a strong AC in Texas. The mini refrigerator at first looks like it isn’t strong enough to cool your food or drinks but it definitely does! The microwave works well. The bathroom was real nice and the glass door shower was a nice modern touch. The shower offer has stationary gel options for your shampoo, conditioner, and soap...this was actually my first time seeing gel soap offered at a hotel which I thought was cool. All in all it was a good stay. The staff was nice. They offer plenty of channels including streaming options. I really have no complaints. It’s located around some other hotels and a bit of empty lots that I imagine soon will be bought by other hotels and is a quick trip away from some stores.

This hotel is only 18 months old and still looks new. It is convenient (just a mile or so north of the 610 loop) and easy access to Hwy. 290. It is also one block off of the freeway which makes for a quieter stay. The property is clean and has very nice decor inside and out. There are also many good dining options just down the frontage road. It was clean and the price was right. I would definitely stay here again.

New hotel in a quiet location. Service was very good especially the breakfast staff. The rates were reasonable and included breakfast. However, the breakfast was really not good except the gentleman assisting with breakfast was the best. The room was clean but very basic with a nice bathroom.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. While I am excited to hear that you enjoyed the staff service and general property itself, I am very sorry to hear you did not enjoy the complimentary breakfast food we offer as the standard Fairfield Inn breakfast package. If you would like we are more than happy to provide a list of restaurants outside of the hotel you may enjoy. Please feel free to stop by the front desk for suggestions should you find yourself staying with us again in the near future. Wishing you safe travels in the meantime.

This hotel is new and it’s quiet. I was somewhat worried following my GPS because the area didn’t look inviting. The hotel sits off from NW Freeway, but it’s by the school bus transportation center. I felt safe once I noticed the FBI building that sits adjacent; you know the area was recorded for safety. The rooms were new, clean, and the staff was friendly. Mr. Jerry made our breakfast experiences exceptional. Great restaurants are near once you turn a few corners. I would stay here again.
