My little family and I stayed at this hotel and we loved our experience from the moment we checked in and out. Al the staff was welcoming and had great attitudes. The valet service was fast and friendly and there was no issues what so ever. I highly recommend staying here!!
From the start the valet guys were very friendly, timely and courteous!! Overall, very pleasing experience here!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel! The roof top was very nice too with nice views!!!
The entire staff of this hotel were amazing. It was as if I was treated like a family. Everyone was nice, fun, and a pleasure to speak with, as if they enjoyed their job! Great hotel accommodations and a clean hotel. Very good proximity to anywhere you want to go.
I had a last minute one night stay booked for business, and stayed at the Le Meridien during the work week (non weekend). The experience with the staff was limited, however upon arriving I was not directed that I must walk in and go up to the 2nd floor to get to the front desk to check in. I wandered around the restaurant for a few minutes, before one of the staff there told me, and shared that they get that inquiry many times a day. As for the rooms themselves - the premium wifi did not work, only the standard wifi during my stay. That said, I was still able to connect my devices and use the internet as needed for the work that had to get done in the room that night. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well. The shower was good, however it appeared housekeeping skimped on the soap (or lack thereof). I went and asked for soap at the front desk as I had none in the bathroom. Overall - nice place, however if paying on my own dime, I would likely opt for one of the larger hotels near the convention center.…
We love a good rooftop bar and quality cocktails and so had to stop here for our final night in Houston based on the reviews we'd read before our trip. The couple who came up in the lift with us just got out, took some photos and went. We should have followed suit! The views are brilliant from this bar, hence the two stars, but we were so disappointed with the expensive drinks which were not great and came in plastic cups! The service was miserable and the waitress spilt water down my husbands trousers and we had to tip for the pleasure. To be honest we drank the drinks quickly and left as soon as we could. Not at all what we'd expected. I have no idea how they get away with serving cocktails at this price in plastic cups; we were not at a pool and we've never had this on out trips before. We had great service and drinks for half the price in other bars in Houston and wish we'd popped up for a picture and then left. …
I want to give a huge shoutout to Julius for his wonderful hospitality. After mentioning that the stay was for an anniversary he made sure to make the time spent at le meridien special. He was so kind over the phone and really helped me out with all my questions. Fantastic place!!
The staff was friendly and excited! They made my husband’s and my first anniversary feel so special. Free margaritas, a beautiful and CLEAN hotel, and an upgraded view. We love our room. It is stocked with a small coffee bar, a huge bathroom, and really comfortable beds. We will be back!!
My husband and I enjoyed our 1 night stay here. Everything was clean and modern, and every employee we encountered was helpful and friendly. The room was upgraded due to my husband's Marriott status, so that was a nice benefit. The only thing I would say could be a little better is the time it took to retrieve the car from the valet. I would definitely recommend Le Meridian and look forward to staying again when we are in Houston the next time.
Stayed here for 4 nights starting March 3, for a baseball tournament at Minute Maid Park. Hotel was clean and room was clean. House keeping was ok, but could have done a better job n replacing items in the room, such as coffee and towels. Somedays only provided decaff coffee, which doesn't work for me. Valet service was great and a friendly bunch. I wasn't wild about the immediate area of the hotel. Not alot of good choices for late night food after a baseball game. If I were in the area of Minute Maid again, I would most likely stay at one of the hotels closer to the stadium or one down the Avenue of the Americas. Restaurant was not that great, but I think it is a separate business. Just to repeat, the hotel itself was fine and I would stay here again.
We stayed at the Downtown Houston Le Meridien in mid-February, 2022. The lobby is initially confusing--it is on the second floor and accessed via elevator. Upon exiting the elevator, you immediately see 3 podium/ desk areas for front desk staff. You do not immediately see a larger area on the right side for sofas, lounging, a spot to sit with your guests, etc. The room itself was sparse and somewhat stark, though large. Not a terribly welcoming feel. The front desk staff were professional and courteous--provided an ample supply of coffee pods for the in-room coffee maker upon request. Most disappointing, though, was that housekeeping replaced our towels and toiletries daily, but did not make the bed nor empty the wastebaskets--so for a 3-night stay, overflowing wastebaskets are an eyesore, and it would have been nice to return to a room with a made-up bed! …
