I and the new husband were gifted a honeymoon stay here by my MIL, and we were blown away by it! It was so whimsical! We first stayed in the Antonio (every room has it's own name), and I felt like I had been transported to the French Quarter. From the penguin sculptures on the fireplace mantel, to the decorated...

This is the place to stay if you are looking for a quiet little getaway in the middle of a bustling city. I had an absolutely wonderful time. The full breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious! Great place I highly recommend.

Stayed here for three nights with our granddaughter (she's 8) on her spring break. Our stay could not have been any better. Robin is a very pleasant owner who we enjoyed visiting with. Her staff was friendly and very attentive to our needs. Breakfast was always some type of cooked eggs, different styles on different days but always excellent. The...

Dear George, Sorry for the delay in getting this thank you letter to you. Your presence enhanced the breakfast table. If I recall we were pretty full but I remember your pleasant, and interesting, presence. It was a privilege to have you and your wife here with your granddaughter; I hope this Victorian provided you with a perfect backdrop, and...

In years of visiting Houston, I'd never even driven by this B&B. When I drove up this time, I was greeted by inviting porch of an old Texas farm house, in the heart of the museum district, inside the loop! Fabulous decor, delightful furnishings, excellent breakfast, and great conversations over the coffee.

What a wonderful visit! I felt like I had entered a magical world miles away from anywhere. Robin graciously welcomed me along with my two terriers. Walking distance to the Rothko Chapel, museums and restaurants, the location is perfect. The houses are decorated and landscaped in such a fantastical style - I never got tired of just looking around. The...

We have stayed at Robis twice and it has been fantastic it feels like you are not even in the city. Robins is so peaceful and a great relaxing place. Location is the best, there are restaurants, bars, nightclubs just a few blocks away. Staff is awesome and the House is absolutely charming and cozy it feels just like home.

Lovely little B&B that consists of two small houses. We stayed in Cindy's room in the Little Nest. Loved every minute. Bed (queen) is perfect. Bathroom is great, with jacuzzi and separate shower. Unique decorations everywhere. Delicious breakfast. Nice, quiet and save neighbourhood. Will stay here again, when in Houston.

We recently stayed in the Rustic Robin and loved our stay. Located in a great section of town. Feel like you are miles away from the Big City! We had all we needed. No worries. Very relaxing. Great staff. Amazing breakfast. Robin is a delight. It is fabulously funky and I loved it!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Robin's Nest consists of three houses setting side by side (The Big Nest, an 1890 Victorian Farm house; The Little Nest, a 1920s Craftsman, and the Third Nest, a 1938 Southern Saltbox), in Houston's Museum and Arts District, also called Montrose; adjacent to downtown Houston and the Texas Medical Center. We serve a full or continental breakfast. We were voted Audience Winner by Citisearch and best B & B in Houston by Houston Press. We welcome children and pets. The rules are the same: We ask that they be clean, groomed, pest free, and well behaved. Several suites are suitable for long term stays. Robin created Robin's Nest in 1990 after another Houston oil bust. There have been numerous articles on the Inn, among them The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Houston Post, Houston Chronicle, Texas Monthly, Southern Living, Houston Press.
