The hotel facilities overall is ok. As in better than a camp site or living in a tent... (I know it is supposed to be a forest theme). However the rooms are very very basic for the money you pay. The staff is SUPER friendly, and their forest ranger outfits are a fun detail. Food on the property is lower than basic. That is a common thing overall at Disneyland Paris, but the food in this hotel is not recommended (and neither is the breakfast...). Newport and Disneyland hotel are way better (but yes I know, also more expensive). We paid around $1700 for 2 nights and our room was the furthest from the main lobby, so quite a walk to get to/from reception (and you'll need to carry your bags yourself - unlike Disneyland or Newport hotels). And the bag carrier we used to transport our suitcases to the room, was still in the corridor outside our room a few days later when we left. For staying just over the night, you don't really care - but then again, you could just as well stay in a non-Disney hotel to be honest. The Disney characters are not onsite more than a few hours (and typically those are the hours you'll be at the park...). So the Disney theme is not really present more than that there is a Disney shop in the main lobby. Overall the stay way ok, but I'd recommend 1) an upgrade to the rooms (bathrooms look like worse than many hospital bathrooms). 2) The hair dryers are from a different century :-)... and I tried to call housekeeping to see if they had spare/faster ones, to avoid drying hair for 2 hours if you have long hair, but they didn't have any. 3) have some 2 Disney characters at breakfast (yes, you pay additional money for a Disney hotel, so there should be some advantages more than just 30mins earlier entrance at the park) The forest theme is fun though - but the facade and the rooms need to be renewed.…

We stayed in Sequoia Lodge for 3 nights in September (2 adults and 2 children) in a standard room close to hotel facilities. Yes the hotel is old but it was clean and comfortable. Our room was quite and peaceful. The beds were comfy. We had tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a handy charging point. We did not eat in the hotel but noticed it was busy in the mornings. The towels were skimpy but we asked for extra and it was no problem. The water was always hot. The hairdryers need to be updated and are no good for long hair. The air conditioning worked well. We never used the shuttle bus to the parks as we really enjoyed the walk through the village. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We loved the woodland theme. The baggage storage room was a great help to store our cases after check out. I would definitely use the hotel again if we hopefully return. …

Spent 5 nights at Sequoia Lodge in a standard room in the main hotel building. The room was a great size for 2 adults, plenty of storage and the in-room safe could even fit a laptop! It's nice to see that there are now in room tea/coffee facilities, perfect after a long day at the parks. There were also more plug sockets available in the room than on previous visits, so it's great to see Disney taking feedback on board. Only real improvement left is the hairdryer - if your hair is longer than shoulder length, take a travel one with you or you'll be there for a while! Beds were comfy, air-con was brilliant. Room keeping was daily and we always returned to a clean and fresh feeling room. On our second morning we did have an issue of no hot water. I spoke to reception about it who were incredibly helpful, and the member of the maintenance team beat me back up to the room! Fixed incredibly quickly, can only praise the team for their service that morning :) We had breakfast in the hotel, it was a buffet. Very well stocked with a huge range of items from cooked breakfast, cereals, pastries, rolls, deli meats and fruits. (even some mickey waffles and mickey brioche!). Gym is pretty well stocked for a hotel gym, lovely little facility - you need to be let into it with a key from the fitness centre reception. Swimming pool was brilliant, had great fun on the little slide. Would highly recommend this disney hotel for the fact it has the pool. Character meet and greets were in the morning, well managed and a good way to meet some of the characters. All staff were very friendly the whole trip - can't wait to go back.…

Disney hotel situated within walking distance from Disneyland Paris and aiming to reproduce the ambient of a North American mountain hotel. Although called a lodge, it is in fact a very large hotel with long and bending corridors so be prepared for long inside walks. The hotel is also rather expensive for what it offers, besides proximity to Disneyland. Other than that, the room (no. 3142) was spacious and had subtle Disney touches.

The hotel is nice and the room is very spacious, but it felt a bit dated and was missing a closet. For the amount I paid I was expecting better but overall it was okay. We visited for our honeymoon and they gave us some really nice decorations. It is within walking distance to the parks but it was more of a 20/25 minute walk rather than the 15 minutes advertised.

While the hotel was nice, there were several challenges ranging from not having hot water for showers, no AC, only one window that could be opened and mold in the shower. The fire alarm worked well though….although when we went to leave the room there were people in the hallway that worked there but gave no direction or indication of what to do…they actually seemed to continue working on housekeeping duties.

This is quite a difficult hotel to review so pros and cons. Pros - near(ish) park, swimming pool, Buffett, big and airy Cons - reception is horrid, rooms are tired and i would not say the staff are particularly friendly My major problem is that it is not disabled friendly as stated - first off the reception is at standing height with no chairs - I asked and asked but they refused to get me a chair and I’m disabled FFS ! Then they muddled our booking, booked us ina room the furthest away (even though we requested near) and then took ages to sort out like 30 mins d at least - I can’t stand for more than 5 mins so this is a problem. They didn’t appear to understand the problem which is worrying. They need to go round with a disabled person to do a proper audit, The park is also completely no walkable for me as it was 20 mins at least. Ok so prob 2.5 stars but I won’t be going back soon for their prices. …
