I told evening staff. They said would clean that night while I was gone. I checked on return hair gone soap... More

The hotel was like a small museum in itself, fillled with history and antiques. The staff was all friendly and helpful, our room was clean, comfortable and cozy. It is right on the town square which made it so easy to enjoy the shops and restaurants, and nearby drives to wineries, parks, etc.

Quaint hotel, wonderfully friendly staff, great view of the square and really interesting history. However, I don't think I'll recommend or return until they establish a curfew for the common areas. Nothing like being woken up to a group of people hammering back a case of canned beers and yelling so loudly that it sounded like they were standing next... More

We were able to jump in and grab a last minute reservation due to a cancellation (yeah us!) for one night (Friday). On motorcycle trip with my hubby and we were able to secure parking directly in front of hotel. We were in room #7. Melinda was very friendly at check-in and gave us all the details on our room... Our shower had human hair on the shower walls when we arrived. The room we are in (in their related Daniel Harris House, two blocks from their main facility) had a number of other flubs. You know how the binder of information at most B&Bs contains information on how to access wifi, parking, the history of the building, when and... More

My wife and I stayed at the Nutt House for one night. We were disappointed with our stay and would not recommend it to others. Here's what we liked and disliked: Liked: We liked the location - right in the middle of downtown Granbury. The hotel is on the central square, right across from Granbury's wonderful historic courthouse. There are... More

Our website clearly states that we offer only a continental breakfast on weekdays and the catered hot breakfast only on weekend mornings (Saturday and Sunday). Our website also clearly states that number 5 is our only interior room. Also, 2 steps outside that room and you are in our spacious upstairs lobby which has ample seating and 4 large windows... When an old friend got married in Granbury, we stayed at the Nutt house. Loved our room. Do wish the hotel had a bar. Great location on the historic square. Could use a bit more parking. Marvelous old building filled with antiques and Texas history. Haunted. I would stay here again 4 sure. One thing sucked: granbury was hosting a... More

Stayed here one night for a girls' weekend getaway. It's a good deal for the price compared to what you might pay at other B&B's. Its a very old historic building so don't expect perfection. Bathrooms are modern and fairly updated. Rooms could use a good cleaning and editing. There was a little too much furniture in our room -... More

A very historic place with a lot of history in it. You will be surprised at the amount of history that you will find in this town. The staff is very friendly and they will be more than happy to answer your questions. If you are coming to this town, you definitely have to check this place out, even if... More

I've stayed at the Nutt House many times over the years. Because of it's location right on the main square of Granbury it is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. There used to be a wonderful family-style restaurant on the first floor, but that has gone by the wayside in favor of the same stuff you see in every store... More
