What a beautiful property. Clint was an excellent host. He greeted us, and offered a tour. Great info that made us feel more connected with the history of the home. Strongly recommended that you stay here, whenever your journey carries you to this area of Texas.

We had a reservation for Saturday night May 14. We arrived and were told that they had double booked our room. Keith then told us that we would be put into the Riata suite at no extra charge. It was absolutely great! We felt like we were taken back in time to the early 1900's, but with today's conveniences. Keith...

Another trip to Belle Oaks Inn, where nine of us old ladies invaded this beautiful home and grounds for three days of bridge and shopping. A yearly affair for us. Clinton Hille (the owner) and Keith (the inn keeper) made our stay a fantastic one. They catered to our every whim and need. It's not easy to please nine old...

See photos of review written in the guest book. In short when staying a Bed and Breakfast, one expects a breakfast. What we got was a so so thrown together casserole in a crockpot. The bathroom specifically the shower was disgusting. Old bars of soap left behind. I literally had to wedge my pocket knife underneath it to release the...

When we fail to meet or exceed our guests expectations we take it very seriously. Unfortunately the guest did not bring his concerns to our attention therefore we regret not having the opportunity to address, correct and offer compensation for their less than optimum experience. Some of the comments are a bit confusing. Our egg frittatas and quiches are served...

Wonderful stay over the weekend, and couldn't ask for more. The Inn Keeper, as well as the owner are very welcoming, and personable. The home is beautifully decorated, very clean, and has the personal touch of many fine art collections, and antiques. Very nice blend of antiques, and eclectic décor, which adds a touch of flare. The grounds are beautiful,...

My husband and I selected Belle Oaks from the web. We were delighted. The house was decorated for Christmas, absolutely beautiful. The service was fantastic. We were there one night the week after the holiday, so town was quiet. In fact, we had the whole house to ourselves. We enjoy B&B stays whenever we can, this inn has set the...

Host greeted us and showed us around. Air does not work well and then blows right in your face when you are sleeping, but during the day it is like a sauna in there!! Pool needed to have water filtered and the loungers need new cushions. House is nice on the outside, inside has a lot of old antiques everywhere.

Exceeding our guest expectations is very important to us and we regret we were unable to fully meet yours. We wish you would have made us aware of the discomfort you experienced with the air conditioning. We would have gladly made adjustments or moved you to a room you would have felt more comfortable in. We also apologize if the...

Belle Oaks Inn is an extraordinary bed and breakfast. The lovely Greek Revival mansion was restored with much care and attention to details. Guests at Belle Oaks are treated with the same care. The grounds are also beautiful. If you are in need of a calm, serene, and gentle escape, book a room at this "jewel".

We arrived late evening with Clint greeting us upon arrival with a warming welcome. The grace and beauty of Belle Oaks Inn at first sight is enough to bring about a feeling of Inspiration. We (a couple) stayed at Belle Oaks in Gonzales one night, October 12, and were delighted with the architecture, furnishings, breakfast, and entire experience. When we arrived, Clint gave us a tour and informed us of the history of the house and then showed us to our room (Hunt Room), which was a medium-sized bedroom with en suite bathroom, a...
