Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I did not expect 5 star accommodations for the unit we rented through vrbo but did expect a decent and comfortable condo because it stated the owner was a 'premier host'. I got neither. The unit is quite 'run down'. The a/c vents are filthy, floor boards are missing in various areas, dinette chair was on its last leg and not safe to sit in, bed linens were very old and so thin you could see through them and a dirty dish towel was provided for use but no dish cloth nor sponge. There is only one remote for 2 TV so very inconvenient since bedroom TV works with remote only. It was not a pleasant stay.
The resort is in a great location within walking distance of several fast food restaurants and a Walmart. The beach is directly across the street. There was ample parking, a fee of $21.65 applies for your stay. I would consider returning to this resort but in no way stay in this unit (121) again.

We stayed one night in our 3rd floor unit. The facility has 2 relatively small outdoor pools, coin operated laundry facilities on site. Elevators and stairs, luggage carts available. Covered and uncovered parking available for an additional fee. Located right across the street from the beach and Seawall. Also close to a fishing pier (access for a fee). A few places to eat within walking distance. It’s a great location being able to see the gulf from our balcony. A busy 4 lane road separates the Casa Del Mar from the beach.

Stayed with my mom and 8 year old for 5 amazing, relaxing days. Jay at the front desk was SO great checking us in and getting us the best suite possible for our family. The suite was clean and decorated perfectly. Even though with Covid there is no housekeeping available, all you have to do is call the front desk and the will run up extra towels sheets. Kitchen was small but perfect for our needs and saved us tons of money since we didn’t eat out. My only suggestion would be to provide a kitchen sponge as well as the towel / cloth. Bunk was perfect size for my 8 year old and bed super comfortable. I would definitely book again!

1. No effort is made to keep non-guests out of the swimming pools and therefore the swimming pools are over crowded and loud 2. Our TV does not work. They sent a very professional maintenance man to help that he does not know anything about this. We have spent one hour so far on this, no avail. This is not a cheap hotel… They should have somebody who knows how to deal with the televisions. I believe there are 240 rims. 3. We were given only one tiny bottle of conditioner and shampoo, one tiny bar of soap for two people for five days. They would not give us more. 4. We were not given paper towels, or anything else to use in the kitchen to clean dishes.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. The suites have one bedroom with a queen size bed. There are also 2 bunk beds and a sofa bed, a small wooden table with two chairs, small kitchen with granite counters, 2 wooden stools, a stove, microwave, full size refrigerator and all the kitchen items you need for a stay. All suites have a balcony with partial view of the gulf. The complex is directly across the street from the gulf with a traffic light and pedestrian crosswalk for safe street crossing. Parking is free. There are two nice pools that were renovated during the pandemic. There are coin operated washing machines available. The suites and grounds are well maintained and they are very responsive to any needs, with just a call to the front office.

The location of this property is nice. The inside of the unit we rented, not so much. There was no bathroom fan which made the whole place humid during showers. There was also several spots of mold on the ceiling. The "single" beds are not single. They are about half as wide with a 2 inch thick pad. Shower itself very very old with lots of caulked spots and there is lots of mold in the bathroom and kitchen. So sad cuz the location is good, decor style is nice and property itself is very nice. 4 ppl max in here unless 4 of the 6 are toddlers. We were a bit disappointed to say the least. There was also mold in the kitchen around the AC vent. Most places could legally be closed for the mold growing... not sure how this is allowed and acceptable. :(

Casa del Mar is made up of 276 individually owned condo suites. The unit referred to in this review is a privately managed unit, not part of the onsite Rental Management Program. The 110 on-site “hotel” program units are professionally managed and follow strict standards and service guidelines including AAA inspections and offering 24/7 on-site service. In this particular case, we encourage you to contact the owner you rented the unit from and ask them to address your concerns. If there was a website (such as VRBO) that you rented through, you should ask for their assistance in resolution as well. As is the case with many condominium properties, guests should consider issues such as this when deciding whether to rent from a private individual or the on-site management team. We are sorry if you were disappointed with your experience and encourage all potential guests to compare options when making reservations. Please be assured that the rental program management team takes pride in providing our guests with clean, well-appointed, and comfortable accommodations as well as friendly, professional service.

The location was just right for us. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a Sofa Bed in the living room The four of us were very comfortable. Actually the sofa bed was more comfortable than I thought it would be. Not plush but doable. We especially liked the balcony facing the ocean and beach. The only thing I can think of that was needed is that there was no soap for the bathtub/shower, which would have been nice with four adults sharing Thankfully, my husband happened to have a bar of soap in his travel kit.

We came to Casa del Mar and the location to the beach was great however the airbnb we stayed in was a little old and run down. Things were broken inside and there was a weird smell in our unit. They just seemed really old and outdated. Next time I will opt for a hotel.

Thank you Christina. I loved the view & breakfast. Checking in was a breeze. We celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday.
As One Rewards member reservation was smooth. Online check-in. The room had a great review. Make sure you let them know how many in your party because you want to avoid any inconvenience at breakfast. The staff are very through.
Also, the live entertainment * fire pit was a plus.

The entrance/exit to the property is so close to an intersection it's difficult to get out. There are no phone numbers available to deal with issues such as othet guests not following noise rules. Televidion reception was often poor - no one to call again. Street noise is absurd. I would not recommend, as much due to location as anything else.

Good afternoon and thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately we do not have transportation to the cruise port. We do offer cruise parking at Casa Del Mar at no additional charge. Some guests choose to take a cab or using the "Get Me" app so they can be dropped off directly at the boarding point at the port. Look forward to having you as our guest !
