Easy accessible 30 & 50 amp service and water & sewer Most sites have 10 - 20+ feet grassy area between trailers/RV. putt-putt golf course. evening movies for the kids. 2 swimming pools and a lazy river Basketball court Playground Horseshoes & shuffleboard & volleyball court Nice dog park and dog walking area small fishing pond just offsite friendly staff Clubhouse with small store and pizza for sale.

Great resort with all the amenities you could possibly want! Lazy River, miniature golf, pools, hot tubs, basketball, horseshoes, clean restrooms and laundry, etc. It's a very large park and usually full, especially weekends and holidays. Owners keep adding activities for everyone to do, and the grounds are usually very clean and mowed (except when it rains of course). Like most resorts there are rules for the guests to follow. BUT, that doesn't always happen, especially during weekends and holidays. Vehicles park on the grass as extra vehicles cram into the site, late night "parties", sometimes loud music, go on past 10:00 pm quiet time, some dogs are not kept on leash, and kids drive golf carts (Texas law says licensed drivers only) and they aren't going slow!! During our walks with our pups we have almost been hit by these kid drivers (with no adult onboard) several times. I think it's sad that these campers don't follow rules as they are only hurting the resort. It's a beautiful, fun park, and to keep it open for everyone to enjoy you need to follow the park rules! But overall it's a fabulous park, we keep coming back and we don't even use all the amenities! We also recommend the resort to fellow RVer's we've met during our travels. They have all thanked us for letting them know about this resort. It's great being a full time RVer and meeting new people all over our beautiful country. You will meet alot of good people here!

I'm already planning two more trips here. The RV park is very nice clean & lots of fun! The RV sites are very nice has some space to move around & enjoy the outdoors! The lazy river was the best I've ever been in! Lazy river is nice clean & very big. The park is very laid back & not very strickt with rules. You can rent a golf cart or you can bring your own golf cart to drive around at the RV park! The other 3 pools are nice clean & relaxing. The splash pad is kinda on the smaller side, but just enough for kidos to have fun splashing around in the water! The mini golf is very fun & very chanllenging for those of you who are competitive! The park is pet friendly as long as they are on a leash. Big area to take the dogs out for a walk. They have poop bags for dog poo & they have dog poo poo scoopers already there at the dog walk & at the dog park. This was extreemly nice not to have to pick up dog poo by hand with a dog poo bag! scoop it up & bag it up & put it in the trash. So nice! Had an amazing time & we will be back! The best RV park we have ever been to. Prices are nice too & very affordable.

Wow There is so much to do at Jamaica Beach Rv. During the winter there are many events and stuff to do. During the summer you would never need to leave the park. This is a Paradise for adults and kids alike. With there 700 Ft Lazy river. 2 Hot tubs, Sauna, Splash pad for kids and the huge mini golf are. Out door Chess, during the summer out door movies, 2 fantastic pools. 3 Laundry areas, Special Bird watch building, A paved walk to the Bay. A club house for pot lucks and other events. There is even a small store with popular Rv items you might need. Also they have Hunts brother Pizza and it is really good. Then what makes this Rev resort even more special is the owners live on site and they make everyone feel cared for. There staff are always working on things so you never have to worry about things being broken. If indeed something happens to break or needs attention all you have to do is call and they are there quickly to take care of the issue. This is the Rv Resort you will want to stay at.

This was the third year (including last Thanksgiving, so our fourth time) we spent at the RV resort. We simply love the laid back atmosphere, floating in the lazy river for hours, walking the bay trails, mini golf, and now they have also a covered pool which is nice and cool. We spent a lot of time there this year. Already booked next summer although all the end sites which are the larger sites were already booked 😔. We also have two large dogs and we are so thankful that our fur babies are welcome too. The family who owns it does a great job with adding new amenities each year. They are very friendly people and make us feel at home. This visit our electrical plug melted into the box and the owner’s son-in-law came (before office hours) and exchanged it for us. The best customer service, that’s why it is our summer home away from home. Simply the best park with the most amenities in the area. Wish we could just pay for a site all year and leave our camper so we can come back any weekend we like.

We had a blast celebrating my daughter’s 7th birthday at this resort. Our site was amazing. The premium sites offer a secluded yard area surrounded by flowering plants and palm trees. Our main reason for camping here was the beach, but we were so impressed with the pools, splash pad, lazy river, mini golf, night movies, and more...we only spent one morning at the actual beach!!! Our first day there we met one of the owners at the lazy river and my daughter mentioned her birthday. The next day she gave my daughter a birthday present! Meant the world to her and to us! Will be adding this destination to our yearly travel plans for sure!!!

We stayed for 5 nights in a trailer with 2 adults and 4 teens. The sites are concrete, level and with full hookup. The park grounds, including the pools, are beautifully maintained and clean. The amenities are plentiful and wonderful--from the mini golf (best course we have ever played...we did it multiple times!) to the lazy river (fresh and fun!) to the pools to the ping-pong to everything in between. The bay is a few minutes walk to the back of the park and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets while relaxing on the swings. The beach is about 5 minutes walking from the front of the park and it was clean and wonderful fun. To top it all off, the price is so reasonable and the park staff is friendly and accommodating. Our kids were active and happy the whole time. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this RV resort!! To date, it's the best place we have ever stayed in our trailer!

My wife and I plus two grandkids, enjoyed out short but VERY much-needed vacation. We chose this location based on reviews of other full-time RVers that we follow on YouTube. We even got to meet one family. We didn't get to the Lazy River this trip, we will definitely plan on it next trip. The spaces are a little narrow, however there is still plenty of room to enjoy yourself. They have a good assortment of t shirts, other items and a small kitchen to order pizzas.

Rented a cottage for a week during Spring Break. The cottage was clean and spacious, very cozy. Refrigerator, microwave, grill, air fryer and hot plate made it easy to grocery shop and cook meals. Beds and linens were super comfortable.
We used the tiki pool and hot tub the most. Playing putt putt was a daily activity and such a fun course. I recommend bringing your own putters and balls if possible so you can play when the office is closed.
The beach is walkable, but since you can drive cars on the beach it isn’t necessary to walk. Take cash to the beach for the ice cream truck that frequently drives the beach.
Hosts are super friendly, food truck was delicious, and there are several restaurants not too far away.

This is our second trip to Jamaica Beach RV Resort in 2 months and it has become a favorite. The owners are amazing- friendly, hospitable and very involved in the care of their park. We felt almost like family! We were here this time over Labor Day and although I think we will avoid holiday weekends in the future, it wasnt terrible. Just crowded, which was expected. We truly have enjoyed the days when the crowds are minimal though. Great pools and lazy river, as well as super clean restrooms and laundry facilities. We lost power due to a summer storm, so we went into town for breakfast. Within a couple hours, it was back on and everything was running normally. Only con would be the bugs. Mosquitoes were horrible and so were the fire ants & love bugs. This IS Texas though, so I don't know if that is even controllable. Spraying for Mosquitoes would be my one recommendation. It was very hard to enjoy our evenings outside even with Off and citronella burning all over. We're already looking forward to our next trip down!

Yes, it doesn’t start to really cool down in Texas until around Halloween most years. They are open year round as well. With COVID I would just keep an eye on things; however Galveston, TX and Jamaica Beach, TX seemed to be pretty relaxed regarding COVID, only requiring masks when in a business and everyone doing the social distancing thing.
There are more places to choose from in the Galveston area.
