Got a king size room 7-9-16. Ac was on for us which was good because it was very hot. Got in and started opening all drawers; this is our routine to check for surprises. And sure enough there were a few crawling surprises. I did not know about the "No refunds after 15 minutes" sign, so i didn't rush back...

This is the place to avoid at all costs! Where the smoke detector was supposed to be were just wires coming from the wall. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet. There looked like gun shot holes in one wall. The room smelled. Thank goodness I didn't see any creepy crawlies but others staying there did. The pool had...

"No refunds after 10 minutes of check-in." First room had no electricity and the toilet didn't flush. Carpet was soggy. Smelled like very strong cleaner but it wasn't clean. Second room smelled like mold and had a cockroach the size of a mouse in the bathroom. Cement walls and floors, reminded us of a state park restroom only it wasn't...

At least most of the bugs were dead and the urine dry. The smell almost made me puke. I turned around and walked right back to the lobby and was refused a refund. They have a ten minute policy on refunds. Listen, no sober person could stay in this room for ten minutes. I was there less than a minute...

Not sure how this place is still in business, but it definitely doesn't seem like it should be. The guy at the front desk was even asking us if we had looked elsewhere because of the condition of the motel. We have been in a bunch of different hotels on the seawall and haven't had a really bad room until...

My boyfriend and I had planned to camp on the beach but it was uncomfortably hot, so in a rush we grabbed the first drive up we saw, thinking it would be cheap. Wrong. So wrong. The final bill was $206. For ONE NIGHT. I know I was lucky to get a room, but this isn't even a $50 room-...

Our room smelt so badly of cat pee it made my eyes water. Trouble sleeping, ammonia taste in my mouth. Bathroom filthy, I could feel the slime on the bottom of the shower as I stepped in. Hotel of the dregs of society giving us dirty looks as we entered. Receptionist asked for $10 remote control deposit - I said...

This is not a B&B but an old fashion pull up to the door motel. How it got listed as a B&B is a mystery. This is an older two story motor court type of place with great view of the water. The rooms are small but come with all you need and the staff is friendly and helpful. Beds...

The hotel is in a prime location in Galveston. However, the rooms are quite run down and dingy. The absolute worst thing about our room was the bathroom - molds without end. Too bad, and never again...

We stay there every year Yes there could be some upgrades like pillows and bedding but it is a perfect location. The staff is very nice and helpful and we are looking forward to our trip this year. The only thing I don't like is they do not have a web sight that you can reserve your room and see...
