The individual cabins are a throwback to early Texas, but with all conveniences one might find in a new hotel. Very comfortable and a nice hot breakfast. Biggest drawback is the close proximity to Hwy 16. Going-to-work traffic on Monday morning was noisy. While B&B provides a 'white noise' machine, we were glad we had the app on our phones....

We’re happy you decided to celebrate your special occasion with us and that you enjoyed your stay (and hot breakfast delivered to your cabin!). We are sorry to hear that you experienced the sound of some traffic during your stay. Our 1800s cabins were constructed to prevent most noise with 10-inch thick exterior logs designed specifically for this purpose and...

Cotton Gin Village is a collection of authentic, restored and modernized log cabins from the Texas countryside just outside Fredericksburg. The cabins are arranged around a nice central courtyard that has fountains, Koi ponds and fire pits. The cabins are carefully decorated in rustic style with actual antiques, big rock fireplaces and relaxing porches to hang out on. The breakfast...

We strive to provide our guests with “uber romantic” getaways, so it’s satisfying to learn we met your expectations! Our hand-delivered hot breakfast picnic baskets are a favorite of our guests. So happy to hear you enjoyed yours. Our 1800’s log cabins are constructed to reduce most noise, and we also provide sound machines for light sleepers. Thank you for...

My wife and I spent our 22nd anniversary with Ross Burtwell and his WONDERFUL Cotton Gin Village and Cabernet Grill. Fall back in time in a wonderful 1800's cabin, updated with all the modern conveniences. After full days of shopping, wine tasting, and a terrific meal at the Cabernet greill, we fell asleep in front of the cozy wood-burning fireplace....

We enjoyed the rustic appearance of the cabins, but loved the up to date facilities. The morning breakfast was delivered, hot and delicious both days we were there. We have a Keurig coffee maker at home , so we're delighted to have that. We look forward to our next trip to Fredericksburg to again stay at the Cotton Gin Village!

Fantastic features shown on line included unique interesting cabins which were very well decorated and a stunning courtyard area with tables, fire pits, heaters, pools, water falls, etc. The only problem was that the whole village was within 100 ft. of a very busy highway and the traffic was horrific both in and out of the cabins. Sleep at night...

Thank you for staying with us at the Cotton Gin Village, we are sorry to hear that we did not exceed your expectations with both our lodging and dining experiences. It saddens us that you did not find the Cotton Gin Village ambience as peaceful and relaxing as do the majority of our guests. Our 1800’s log cabins are constructed...

Staying at the Cotton Gin Village was the best part of our stay in Fredericksburg. The private little cabin was so clean, adorable, and perfectly cozy for our short 3 day get away. It has everything you could need on vacation. The breakfasts delivered in picnic baskets were so delicious and honestly the best food we had in a small...

Thanks for such a tremendous review of your stay here! We are so happy that you love it as much as we do and that we made your top five list! Relaxing in the rocker benches on each cabin’s porch is a favorite activity shared by so many of our guests. We hope that we can have you back again...

The Cotton Gin Village is the very best of the Texas Hill Country and Fredericksburg. The log cabins are reminiscent of the early German immigrants that settled Fredericksburg. The grounds outside the cabins are peaceful and tranquil, with the sound of the waterfall. We've stayed here twice. The first time was in February and it was pretty cold outside. Even...

8 women stayed in the 1 Big House. Accommodations were spacious & comfortable. The wrap around porch is great for sitting outside enjoying a glass or two of wine. Good breeze while sitting on porch. First time we've stayed here. I would come back. Adorable rustic cabins with front porches with rockers that I loved. It's not out in the country like we thought. Cabins are off the highway. The Rio Grande Cabin is the first one in a line of very cute cabins. First - the good things - a great breakfast delivered to your door, very cute furnishings, a really nice jacuzzi tub and a very cute porch to sit and rock on. But any one staying in this cabin would agree - the bed is awful!...

We apologize that bed during your stay was less than desirable. We want all our guests to feel comfortable during their stay, and so we have already replaced the box springs that seemed to be the cause. We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
