Hotel needs renovations. Front desk staff was great! Bistro was limited because they didn’t have most of what the menu offers. The only plus was the Starbucks . Elevators make weird noises that sound like they’re about to break down.

While the room had been updated. And nice , the grounds were terrible, primarily dirt , the fence around the property is falling down , exterior doors were out of order, the Bistro restaurant has been closed. It needs a major exterior overhaul.

Overall, this hotel was reasonable and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Clean rooms, nice staff, easily accessible. Given there is nothing notable in the immediate vicinity, you obviously have your own reasons for staying here, and that's cool with me. Airport access is a manageable 20 minutes, and the Valwood commercial corridor is 15-20 minutes.
Exercise room is good with cardio and weights. Breakfast option is an embedded Starbucks which I found painfully slow and understaffed at the peak 7:00 - 7:30 time. Another Starbucks is a block east.
For those who prefer stairs, the 3-floor hotel has clean, carpeted stairwells. For white noise junkies, my room did NOT have a continuous fan mode for the HVAC. That was annoying to me; might not bother others.
If you just need a clean, affordable place to stay near Dallas metro, this is a fine option.

My recent stay at the Courtyard Marriott was a complete letdown.
The disengaged staff seemed uninterested in even basic customer service
The staffs inattentiveness and treatment concerning resolving billing This lack of care extended to the overall condition of the hotel.
The most unpleasant aspect was the pervasive stale smell throughout the hotel, making it difficult to relax. On top of that, the room itself felt tired and neglected. Tattered furniture and outdated decor painted a picture of a hotel in dire need of an upgrade.
To top it all off, the price I paid for this underwhelming experience was exorbitant. Considering the overall ambiance, the outdated rooms, and the inattentive staff, the price tag was completely unjustified.
There are far better hotel options available that offer a fresh, welcoming environment, attentive staff, and a good value for your money. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your stay.

I love the Marriott branded hotels and courtyard use to be one of my favorites for last minute trips but never again. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. I requested through the website and app to get my room cleaned, no one cleaned my room. I didn’t stay in my room most of the day because I was on a business trip so they had plenty of time to clean it.

The room still had the previous customers hair throughout the bathroom and sheets. Thankfully I had a room with 2 queens so I had options but I felt disgusted sleeping in the bed knowing there’s hair everywhere. I barely slept so just imagine spending 4 days in Dallas with little to no sleep each night 😩.

The parking isn’t the best even though it’s complimentary. I guess beggars can’t be choosers. So if you have a good parking space, order your food because if you leave you won’t get it back.

My last night there, there was a group of young people in the room next to me and they were extremely loud until 12 am. I had a flight at 6 am the next day. They were louder than my tv and they had to been having a wrestling match because about 5 minutes there was a loud bang against the wall that shook my bed. I had to call the front desk and make a complaint. Come to find out the phone in the room doesn’t even work 🤦🏽‍♀️ so I had to my cell phone. Just imagine if I had an emergency.

I’m not a person that likes to leave bad reviews. I like to just call it a day, move forward and never come back. But this experience was the worst experience I’ve ever had and I travel monthly so this was extremely disappointing.

Stayed a week, asked 3 times for room service....room was never cleaned. Front staff was rude. No hair dryer in room, asked desk for one, they said they couldn't find one. Since the hotel was not very full, asked if they could get one from another room, they could not figure out which rooms were occupied.....pretty poor problem solving ability. Coffee was always late. Headboard was foam covered with pillow case. So cheap. TV remote took 20 minutes to scroll through channels. Just a very disappointing stay, will never go back and feel that Marriott should be ashamed to call this hotel and staff part of their properties.

When we arrived at the hotel the outside of the building was in terrible condition. The check in process was fine but when we got to our room the whole hotel smelt like mildew and marijuana. There was mold on the walls in the bathroom the shower door fell off when tried to open it. My wife was in the lobby with some friends at 10 o’clock at night and the hotel employee told them if they didn’t leave we were going to be thrown out of the hotel. The next morning I woke up and talked to the gentleman that was working the day shift and he told me the lobby did not close till midnight. He also informed me that they have had problems with that employee before. The Uber driver that took our friends to the airport told them that that hotel is known for late night room rentals which is kind of sad because I had my 13-year-old daughter staying there. Expected more from a Marriott property

While Americans might be ready to start Traveling, Marriott is not Ready to receive them. Are being locked down for months, we finally said enough is enough and scheduled a getaway at our favorite city, with our favorite Hotel Chain. But boy was Marriott not ready for guests yet, while I understand precautions like 6 feet before checking in, there are some things social distancing can’t be blamed for. The grass appears to not have been cut since Covid started, the hallways and elevators were all 10 degrees hotter than need assuming they were too cheap to want to run the A/C, the choice to not offer a turn down service might make sense but when a guest checks in for three days, it makes it almost impossible to get basic things like towels and shampoo. This does not make sense. At one point we asked a housekeeper we saw in a hall to take out trash, but they said they could not. One morning we were out of shampoo and towels, we went down to the front desk for more and found the doors locked and no one home. Trying to return to my room my key had become demagnetized and I was locked out of the whole hotel. Being Titanium Elite with Marriott I called national guest services who could not believe it and offered no help, they said they would call back with answers but of course did not. I Found myself locked out of the Motel for hours while I was forced to go find food dressed like I had never showered. I have come to expect more from Courtyard and Marriott and hope they will stop using Covid for an excuse for poor service and cheapening out. The virus should not stop you from coming to pick up towels in the elevator floor for two days or cutting your grass.

This facility’s exterior is horrible and it is in a bad area. I had a homeless person approach my car just before pulling in. There were a bunch of work trucks outside. There was construction fencing all around the entrance. Hard to tell if it was even open. Young guys walking down the street came in carrying cases of beer. Men hanging outside loitering. I did not feel safe. My room was moderate except the bathroom light looked like it had a yellow filter over it. RECOMMEND NOT STAYING HERE!!

Welcome to the ghetto. Getto guys hanging out in the parking lot, the type that wear their pants half way down their butts. Sidewalks need a deep cleaning, landscaping is mostly dead or nonexistent.

It appears that all the rooms on the first floor are undergoing some type of renovation. They removed the hot tub, and filled it in. They now have the gym where the hot tub was. There’s a little to no patio furniture in the courtyard area. There is a board covering, what was the fire pit.

Landscaping in the courtyard is horrible, not taken care of.

I stayed one night and changed hotels.
