During our recent stay at the hotel, the staff truly stood out with their warmth and attentiveness. From check-in to check-out, every team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were not only efficient but also genuinely friendly, making our experience exceptionally pleasant. Their proactive approach to our needs and their genuine smiles created a positive atmosphere and made our weekend so special.. Al and Julie delivered outstanding customer service during our recent interaction. Al's attention to detail and genuine care amazed me. Julie's friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile set a high standard, making our experience truly enjoyable and memorable. The ladies in the restaurant made amazing omelets,
Thank you all very much!!

We celebrate our anniversary in Dallas every year and always stay at the Quorum. We have always been welcomed with great accommodations and a staff who are willing to meet our every need and request. Our rooms were comfortable, attractive, well appointed, clean and well cared for. We have had two stays during the pandemic and the extra steps for safety and sanitization have been exceptional. The service, as always, has been exceptional and all staff were well versed on various changes and modifications during this time. Though we missed some of the usual amenities, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this first-rate hotel. Thank you to all for another memorable stay!

We’ve just returned from another stay, so I’ll add to this review that I never clicked to post! The hotel spaces are always being improved, including new carpet in the halls, and artwork in common areas. The elevators are upgraded to run fast and efficiently. The outdoor area around the pool has been expanded and has some new furnishings. Suites on the upper floors are freshly renovated with a contemporary look. And there are more plans for further renovations!

Top all that off with talented and friendly staff, many of whom have been there for years, and know that you’ll have a fun and comfortable stay!

I have had several meetings at this location with my team and I can't say enough about Kris and the team. The sales team has been so attentive to our needs (some are very picky) and they never waiver. The rooms are in great shape (beginning renovations now) and the meeting space is very conducive for a quiet meeting even when there are others around. The Chef is also very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and does a great job of not having the "same old" hotel food. I have meeting across the US at various Marriott properties and this is hands down one of the best!!

Overall, this Marriott is an average Marriott hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are the "new" Marriott rooms with the "wood" floors. The shower is built for a midget and not an average side person and the toiletries are not very good.. the restaurant/bar automatically adds 20% to your bill as a tip. when I was checking out, the bill had all types of things wrong with it and took me 45 minutes to get it straightened out. Overall, I was not really happy with the staff treatment from the bar (they are very nosey and very standoffish and not service oriented) to the front desk that told me I was wrong on the bill. that was until I pulled up my reservation and showed them. I won't be staying here again needless to say.

Dear leev7209- Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our hotel...If you could contact Ali Shiwa our restaurant manger at al.shiwa@marriott.com to discuss your bar experience that would be helpful. Our goal is always to improve and I hope that with some additional feedback we can correct asap. Not sure on your shower it is for the standard guest so if you could let us know what room you were in will take a look at with our Chief Engineer. Thanks for being out guest! Regards- Kris Brown GM

To start I need to level set 5 star. Requirements, full service ( greet you, take luggage to desk and room, great dining options, rooms cleaned and turned down, concierge’s). This hotel is a quasi limited service facility that is well beyond its prime. It’s web site states shuttles to nearby Galleria, false. It boasts good restaurants, false
Reviews talk about great service, BUT this limited service, the only thing for good service is a smile and high. No pool service, no valet, what’s to serve. Then there is the serene pool, great got sun, but directly over the wall of the pool are two Rolls Royce jet engines, throttled for take off, drowning any chance for conversation with anyone further than 6 inches away. A positive, it drowned our crappy music blaring at the front of the pool. Interestingly the only sound that could too the 747 on the other side of the fence was private jets taking off from Dallas Love, passing by on full power at 2000 feet. They have also mastered the art oh housekeeping. Rather than a morning refresh, and a turn down in the evening, rooms are cleaned at 4:30, thereby getting a two fore. The rooms have been redone, nice, but mid level, lobby lacks ability to connect devices to a power source. By the way bring your own ice, none of the in floor ice makers work. In summary, a sorry excuse for a 5 star hotel.

Dear George H- Thank you for your feedback and being our guest! As we are starting to gain business momentum again from Covid disruption we are working hard to fill more positions. Not sure on the airline comments since we are about 20 minutes from Dallas Love Field but we do have a small regional airport in Addison with private smaller jets so assuming that is what you are referring to? I apologize this disrupted your pool time. Again we appreciate all of your feedback and the team will work hard on you comments... Best- Kris Brown GM

We had to stay at Marriot on December 17th due to a flight to Atlanta being cancelled. We took a shuttle to the hotel where we handed the front desk clerk the voucher from American Airlines. He scanned it on his computer and then said he would need my credit card for incidentals. This is a common practice, but when I got home and checked my credit card statement, I was charged $130 for the room. After several phone calls to the hotel, they assured me it would be taken care of within 3-5 business days. I told them if it was not taken care of within that time frame I would contact the better business office and file a complaint.

We had a reservation for 9 days at the Marriott Quorum by the Galleria
Marriot in March/April during COVID 19. My family and I arrived at 9 PM and my very first impression (and red flag) was how the garage was dirty, full of garbage on the ground in several parking spots and the trash bin at the stairs to the lobby was overflowing with trash. At the elevator, I needed to confront guests that insisted on not using masks as required inside the elevator. In the room, there were only 2 towels and we were a party of 3, Guest Services took 20 minutes to answer and 40 minutes to bring an extra towel. The next day, my wife requested the room to be cleaned and the wet towels to be replaced since the bathroom was not equipped with infrared lamps or any device to dry the towels. The garbage was taken, but the used wet towels were left on the bathroom floor, toiletries were not replaced and the beds were not made. On the third day we scheduled a time during the day to have the room cleaned, we would leave the room for hours and the beds were expected to be made and the wet towels expected to be collected. We stayed the whole day out and we arrived at night exhausted, and NOTHING was done and to make things worst we run out of toilet paper. We called again for the items we needed and told the management how disappointed we were with that situation. Non-mask guests events were frequent and the lack of enforcement from the crew and the management were disturbing. We left the hotel on the morning of the fourth day, and the management promised to refund the 6 nights we didn't use. We moved to Holiday Inn across the street and where COVID 19 policies are enforced and any time is replaced in minutes if needed. I don't recommend this hotel.

Dear Andrets1966- Thank you for your feedback. We do ask guest to put on their mask as it is a requirement by Marriott and our hotel. As you can appreciate are associates are not on the elevators at all times to remind guest to put on their mask and in that case it is up to the guest to decide to ride that particular elevator or not....I will address all of your concerns with the team and we do value you as our guest....

As high level Marriott members it’s always nice to be upgraded so we were nicely surprised when we were upgraded to a suite. We had a connecting room for the kids. Their room was newly updated from ceiling to floor. The suite on the other hand was atrocious. It was an OLD suite that was intended for Mtgs and our bed was screwed unto an old Murphy bed setup. There was a screw about 3 inches just sticking out from the wooden wall piece. A child jumping would have hit it. The floor around the faux kitchen had some brown liquid that had spilt and stained the floor in a few places. There was a smell of old mold that required you to run the air and it was cold out. Lastly the bathroom was so tiny and also not updated so maybe 15 yrs old - disgusting. There were no USB plugs or plugs near the bed. The desk had no desk lamp and was shoved against a half wall/ half window. The carpets were stained and just overall gross. The rest of the hotel including lobby etc has been updated recently (last few yrs) except this room.

There are many places to select from when visiting Addison TX, but the customer service and hospitality by Al Saatsaz and his crew is second to none! Al is usually seen in the evenings and takes the extra efforts to say hello to his guest, ask and remember them by name, and make the feel special and overly welcome to the establishment.
The staff at the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum follow suit with this higher level of customer service and keeps me coming back time after time. If, for some unexpected reason there is an issue they act swiftly to resolve and make everything right.
When picking a place to stay, don’t just pick because of price and location, but pick because of the people and experience. You will not be disappointed.

TL;DR: booked a room with king size bed, wasn’t available on check-in, got upgraded to a suite that was occupied or otherwise inaccessible, got downgraded to a room right on the highway, got relocated to a “quiet” room with a king size bed after all, just like I had booked. Still quite a bit of road noise, noise from neighbors. Minibar is empty, restaurant and room service closed.

The whole story:
I booked a concierge level room with king size bed for 1 night and I pre-paid and indicated I’d be arriving around 9pm. I am a Marriott member and I booked through the Marriott web site, because booking through discount sites often leads to getting the crappy rooms.

Upon arrival around 9:15 pm there was a long wait to check in, not enough staff here and the process is slow. When it was my turn, I was told there are no more rooms with King size beds available. then how was I able to book one? Would a room with 2 double beds be ok? Well, that is not what I booked, so that’s a little disappointing, but I guess I have no choice.

How about a free breakfast to make up for the inconvenience, sir? Breakfast starts at 6:30am. I have to leave at 6:45am, so I probably won’t have time for that.

In that case sir, I’ll upgrade you to a suite on the top floor. Now that’s a nice gesture, I appreciate that. So with key in hand I head up to the suite and can’t open the door because the security/privacy lock is locking the door…

Back down to reception, explain the situation. So sorry sir, that suite should have been empty. All I have left is a regular room with double beds on the 10th floor. Bummer, but ok…

I get to the room and it is right on the highway. Cars are blasting past right outside the window, how am I supposed sleep in this? Well, whatever. You know what, I’d better make sure the front desk has updated the parking on my new key, so I don’t have issues in the morning. Let’s call them… no answer. Alright let’s go back down.

Oh no sir, back again? How’s the room? To be honest, I hate it. Ok, let me see what I can do. Oh we might have a room with king size bed on the quiet side of the hotel available, I just need to go and check it… 10 minutes later… that room is available! Here you go sir.

So here I am in my refurbished room with a king size bed after all, just like I had booked, but was told was not available. I can still hear the highway pretty well, I just heard my neighbor put their clothes in their closet and the a/c is struggling to get the room from 72 to 70 degrees when it is not even 90 degrees outside. I can’t believe I am paying $300 for this experience.

Frankly, this building and the way it is run is just not up to modern standards anymore. No amount of paint, lying or cajoling can hide that.

Oh and they shut down the restaurant and room service so no hope for late or early meals.
