The Lorenzo Hotel Dallas, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, has garnered attention for its artistic flair and eclectic atmosphere, a hit for those looking for a distinctive stay and great photo ops. While guests have called out its spacious, uniquely decorated rooms and the exceptional service provided by attentive staff, the value proposition is met with mixed reviews due to additional fees and food costs. The hotel's cleanliness and amenities, including a praised pool and bar, consistently receive positive remarks, although its location receives both appreciation for expressway access and criticism for distance from north Dallas attractions.

My family and I recently stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday at the Lorenzo, and it was a fantastic experience overall. I can honestly say I've been telling people about my stay since returning, and encouraging them to make this hotel a destination if they go to Dallas.

The hotel itself would fall, I suppose, under the boutique category--it is definitely not your typical cookie cutter hotel. From the room decor to the art installations throughout the hotel, it seemed everywhere you turned was something new to see.

The staff was exemplary from the desk team to the restaurant team, and made us feel like welcome guests. We had three meals at the hotel (two breakfasts, and one dinner) and the food was outstanding with a very good variety of choices. Unfortunately we did not get to try the small breakfast taco stand which sits just outside the hotel entrance (and is part of the hotel). Hopefully next time!

In terms of location were looking for something that was close to the city (to attend a Stars hockey game), and also close to I-30 for a Cowboys' game. The Lorenzo was perfectly situated for both, and made going back and forth a breeze. The only downside is that you are close to the highway and the city. For me, I prefer some background noise when I sleep, so it was not a negative. If you are highly sensitive to noise, it's something to be aware of when staying.

Our view was also incredible, and if you don't mind some highway traffic noise definitely request the rooms with a view of the Dallas skyline.

Although this was a family trip, I am also a regular business traveler, and did take the opportunity to check out the various offerings they have. The conference rooms were spacious and in line with the rest of the hotel's atmosphere without seeming overdone. And the banquet facilities on the top floor with great views of the surrounding area and the downtown skyline--well those have to be seen in person to really get the feel for what they offer.

Also took some time to check out the pool area, even though it was November! I had read it was a top pool in Dallas, and even empty, you can see the potential that it has for a great time in the warm months. My wife is already planning a return.

I'm looking forward to my next trip to Dallas, and no question I will be staying at the Lorenzo.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay at the Lorenzo!

From checking in with Bradley from Shreveport to drinks and light bites at the restaurant each night, staff was incredible. Every member of the staff seemed genuinely concerned about my comfort and needs.

I loved the decor and art throughout the hotel. The rooms are well decorated and the bed was comfy.

My only complaint was the outdated bathtub which also unfortunately had hair in it and on the shower curtain on my arrival. During pandemic travel I keep sanitizing products, so I was able to clean the bathroom to my satisfaction.

Overall, I would definitely stay here again when in need of an affordable hotel with free parking in Dallas.

The hotel itself is very clean and modern however it still has the bones of a motel. Once you get past the front desk & lobby the ambiance decreases significantly. The hallways had a slightly weird odor & there was no signage in regards to which way the rooms were so we had to give it a good guess - even though yes, technically it does go in a circle - it’s still in regards to which is the quickest route to get to the room. The hallways were very narrow and dark, just wasn’t the best experience but obviously it’s not too big of a deal more over just the little details that make up a whole experience.
The room itself was nice! Bathrooms are updated (although I miss having a shower door so I can lock in steam & make the shower warmer than Belize in the summertime.) I asked the front desk girl for a quiet room - so I requested something away from the elevator but I figured a downtown view would be pretty. Unfortunately I rely on the front desk to guide me though the hotel’s inner workings & I would’ve appreciated if she had told me that the downtown view room was directly facing the highway & would have very loud road noise throughout the stay. I would’ve foregone the view to have a quiet night’s sleep.
My husband had an open ended meeting the next day & I was going to meet a girlfriend for breakfast. The staff was very accommodating holding our luggage (well until 8PM that evening) and the GM Jordan was extremely nice & helpful by giving my girlfriend & I a place to change into our swim suits to sit by the pool and enjoy the sunshine for a few hours.
Overall I was very happy with the stay a big part was that the staff was very accommodating and helpful during our stay which allowed me to overlook the lack of communication by the front desk in regarding to the road noise in our room.

The hotel was fine, but what was truly awful was that the hotel changed my rate without every notifying me. Despite prepaying for a discount the hotel decided to charge me $200 after my stay without any clear communication about why or how. Despite several emails to them the hotel never responded.

Stay far away and never let them have your credit card information.

After pulling up the valet decided to joy ride my Brand New land Rover into the parking garage roof causing 15,000 in damage. The hotel will not accept responsibility and the valet company who is a scam 3rd party with 16 year olds driving are dead ends to take care of the issue. The hotels GM (Al DeBerry) is a Barney Fife looking 65 year old tool in flip flops stating he’s not responsible. On top of that we payed $2500 to stay in the Zen suite which feels more like a seedy tattoo parlor with 400 pictures of budha plastered on the wall than a calm oasis which they promote. Real calm with death and disparity carpeting (literally printed scriptures of the satan in the carpet). Whoever decorated this place has zero taste.

Save yourself the headache and either stay at a Marriott or better off sleep with the homeless folks across the street, it’d be nicer company and decor. I’m sure smells better than the Old Spice aromatherapy they pump in the vents at this pile.

Last thing, if you enjoy dirty pools and seeing people wearing swim suits 14 x too small, you may like it here. Al and his flip flops will meet you by the pool and serve you Jell-O shots off his bald head

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at the hotel, with all the thanks to the GM, Jordan. She went above an beyond to make our stay wonderful and comfortable. We loved our very large room and appreciated the cleanliness of the entire property. At a time when many hotels are refusing to clean rooms during stays in Dallas, we are so glad the Lorenzo isn’t cutting corners. We stayed for a week and the more I observed the design choices, the more impressed I became. They really created a unique, coherent decor at the hotel. In addition to Jordan, all the staff we encountered were courteous and professional. The pool and pool bar were also fun on the weekend. We will definitely be back the next tine we are in Dallas! Lastly, the location worked for us and everything we wanted to see was a short drive away.

Lorenzo Hotel is truly one of the best hotels in the DFW area. So many instagrammable photo places to catch the eye of everyone!!
Rooms are out of this world gorgeous!! Quality pricing for quality rooms!
Swimming pool that borders up against many Hollywood pool areas, with their chandeliers, vast colorful artwork, interactive murals. Lorenzo is miles ahead of so many!
Rooms available for your events with the Dallas skyline at night....breathtaking!!
Rooms to also rent for teaching events with tables to accommodate all.
In your room you have a walk in shower that they have used eye appeal to make it look very sleek. Mini fridge in room with ample space for what you may need snack wise on the counter.
Beds are large and comfortable. Closets are well spaced for hanging all your clothes for the weekend!
Large, streamlined desk for work but who wants to do that when you have a view, artwork everywhere you turn ......large tv, floor lamp, oversized chair.
Hamilton's won't disappoint, delish food, appetizers and cocktails!!

This place is phenomenal. The staff is very helpful and polite and do their absolute best to make sure your experience is marvelous. The suites are themed suites and the attention to detail in the decorations is remarkable. They have a very enticing restaurant on the first floor with a bar that makes delicious cocktails! When you walk into this hotel you will be blown away with the decor from the eyeball walk way to the elevators to the chandler hanging over the pool to the paintings they have hanging throughout on the walls.. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Beautifully outfitted room with so much space! Poor view unfortunately- was really hoping for Dallas skyline views. Room service was out of Moet & chandon, but I realize some supply lines are disrupted during COVID. The curtains had visible stains, and there were several greasy drip marks on the furniture. It's possible it's just some kind of cleaning agent, but it really didn't give me confidence that the room was properly cleaned.

The room was HOT upon arrival. I realize it's summer in Texas, so we set the thermostat lower and went down to the restaurant for dinner (which was great, good food and drinks). The room was still 78 when we got back from dinner, and never got any cooler (see thermostat pic).

I honestly expected more from thos new trendy hotel. I really wanted to love it.
