We had reservations through American Express Platinum Travel Services as they assured us this hotel was part of their " Fine Hotel and Resort" collection. It is highly recommended they remove this hotel from their list. I've stayed here 29 years ago and yes at that time is was nice. My goodness there have been no renovation since. It is...

Fit for QE2 and a cowgirl with the blues, this hotel is rare for the US. It's not pretentiously serious. The staff try to please and is respectful of the past and rooted in the reality of where the hotel is situated now... Grand Americana in the Texan twilight. The suite was comfy and a very nice bed made a...

Great location in downtown Dallas. Absolutely beautiful lobby area and main floor. Makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. The room itself was ok. Lots of room, but it was decorated in more of a bad western motif, and very dated. Disappointing after seeing the main floor. It was still a pleasant stay, and you should stay...

My husband and I spent our 16th wedding anniversary there last night! We absolutely LOVED everything about the hotel. The quaint antiquity, the beautiful elegance, the service! I'm convinced we had the best room in the house on the 14th floor on the end so we had 2 full walls of windows looking out across the city! We originally stayed to...

On a recent trip to Dallas for a wedding we stayed at the Adolphus. The rooms were elegant, the a/c was excellent and the overall feel was one of "Old world classic". The lobby and entrance were spectacular, retaining the look and feel (and it appeared that the decor, woodwork etc. had been restored to its original beauty) of an...

Dear Guest, We appreciate your kind compliments and high praise. Thank you for mentioning the wedding reception. The Adolphus is renowned for its catering, wedding planning, and culinary team. It is truly one of the romantic places on earth. The hotel has many different floor plans and the bathrooms vary in size. Most are far larger than the one you...

This hotel is beautiful when you walk in...Grand. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are spacious, AC works well and the rooms are comfortable enough. We took a group of students to a convention in Dallas and stayed here because the price seemed right and it was close to the convention center. The individuals I worked with for check...

We have stayed here several times, and enjoyed it before. The hotel has a great location in downtown Dallas, near many shops and restaurants, and within easy walking distance of Dealey Plaza. It is a beautiful and impressive historic hotel. However, this time our stay was marred by some minor problems. We had made and received confirmation of three rooms...

My husband and I decided to take a small trip to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted a hotel that was central to many locations. The Adolphus was only a short walk away from the Dallas Aquarium and many other places we wanted to visit. The staff was knowledgable and helpful, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be staying...

The hotel has an old time feeling when you approach and walk in. So we booked a Saturday night when our home AC was on the blink.
