Very upscale contemporary comfortable rooms. The renovated property is in a great downtown location and has ample amenities and the food provided during the meeting and at dinner was quite attractive and tasty. Service was prompt and courteous.

This was our first trip to Downtown Dallas and to The Joule. It was amazing. The room was perfect! It was sooooo quiet. We spent most of the stay just in our room. Loved the rainhead shower! The only suggestion might be for fluffier towels. I also missed in-room coffee more than I thought I would. We had requested chocolate...

This is a trendy downtown Dallas hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade while checking in at 8am (the room was ready!). The restaurants are very good, as is the coffee shop. The pool is fun, with a glass side overlooking the street. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Art Museum and Sixth Floor Museum....

I loved all the decor of this hotel. It had a great pool and bar outside on the upper part of building. It is quaint and trendy for sure. My room was so small that I was a bit surprised. I'm used to small rooms in soho New York but was surprised for some reason about this one. They had...

We got a balcony suite and it was very spacious with high ceilings. The room was perfect and unique and the bed comfortable. Only things we could find to complain about were cheap toilet paper and the lack of fresh/cool air in the hall ways which seemed stale but who really cares about a hall. ;-) We loved the artwork...

This hotel reminded me of the best hotels I've visited, but fell short in some areas. The check-in process was welcoming and efficient. The lobby is comfortable, and has an interesting mix of contemporary art. The room overall was clean and comfortable. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The service light didn't work. I think that's why housekeeping was...

I could not be more pleased with the attention to our group! From the first email from the concierge to the follow up service... above and beyond what I expected! Personal attention from the beginning of the day until setting up nighttime entertainment. Extremely clean and lovely details everywhere. We will be back!

A boutique hotel in downtown Dallas that made you feel pampered and special and yet still feel at home. Loved my room, fantastic walk in shower - yes, I miss a tub but happily forgo given how spacious and well appointed everything was. Bed was perfect, I slept incredibly well and didn't wake with the crazy weather we had one...

Attended a 3 day conference in Dallas, hosted at the hotel. The hotel is about a 30 minute ride from DFW airport and is ideally located in the city center of Dallas. There are ample restaurants and things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel. Arrival and check-in was a breeze and handled with incredible efficiency. The...

I am here for a conference so I didn't pay the normal room amount. I was upgraded to a suite that was very nice with a wonderful jetted soaking tub. The staff was extremely nice and there are two conveniently joined restaurants. The location is very nice since it is right in the middle of everything

The Joule Hotel, named for the international unit of energy, is the stunning product of a revitalized 1920's neo-gothic landmark Dallas building, three restored buildings of 1930's vintage, and several new structures. A visual masterpiece from award-winning designer Adam D. Tihany, the hotel creates a tasteful union of old world quality and contemporary design, while densely populated throughout by museum quality artwork from names including Tony Cragg, Tony Tasset, Andy Warhol and Richard Phillips. In addition to new guest rooms, spectacular multi-story penthouses and bespoke lobby experience, the property includes an impressive glass-fronted rooftop cantilevered pool, subterranean spa, rooftop terrace with glass pavilion, beautiful event spaces, first-class dining, vibrant cocktail destinations and one-of-a-kind shopping experiences. The Joule is an artfully delivered experience set in the heart of downtown, adjacent to the flagship Neiman Marcus and within walking distance of the Dallas Arts District. ... more   less
